3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz Bottle. The pour was a clear medium reddish brown with a small (less than 1 finger) khaki colored head, which reduced to a large puddle and collar and possessed awesome sheets of lacing that totally engulfed the entire glass.
The aroma was of toasted Belgian malts, light floral hops and a musty Belgian yeast with notes of candi sugar, molasses, coriander and dark fruit (black cherry, currant and raisons).
The taste was moderately sweet and extremely malty with hints of molasses and candi sugar early on, progressing with a mild yeast presence, a somewhat bold fruitiness and a light spicy ending. The flavor stayed with you for a decently long while following the swallow, with a fruity spiciness left to linger on for a while longer.
Mouthfeel was somewhere in between light and medium in body with a thin creamy texture and a nice lively carbonation.
Overall this was a really good tasting beer, which had a good bold fruitiness along with a nice malty sweetness and a touch of spice, making it very enjoyable and easy to drink. Definitely a fine well rounded brew... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

660ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut!
Erm, which Latvian lager is this? Mashy and raw. Taste is the same, hot alcohol, thin and adjuncty. Crazy raw. Completely lacking in beer, at least as the brewed stuff. Mashy raw. Boozt builds up aggressively. Still raw and mashy sip after sip. I have a 7 year old bottle of this, I hope it is better.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2016 Bottle shared by Mart. Clear red amber beer, small tan head. Nose is fruity, toffe, molasses, red currants, sweetness. Flavor is caramel, berries, sugar, dark fruit. Middle of the taste to early taste is empty, caramel and dark fruits kick in in the very late finish and aftertaste, some hops notes and caramel in there, metallic notes. Surprisingly thin. Hides the booze well though.

Pours light brown, clear with some initial head and spotty lacing. Nose is sweet syrup and some dark fruit. Flavours of raisins, spice cake, toffee. Taste medium/big sweet, medium/light bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Alcohol is there, but not too heavy for the size of the beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a mahogany brown with slight, white lacing. Smells of raisins and figs. It’s a pleasant, sweet smell. Taste is sweet from the dark fruit, coffee, and caramel. It’s moderately carbonated and not much burn for its abv. It’s a pretty nice quad.
