Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

Tap. Deep jet black, darker khaki head. Big bourbon, coffee, vanilla and chocolate aromas. Good deal is sweetness but lots of toasted coffee to help balance, nice touch of bourbon vanilla notes in the flavor ashy dry finish. Thick, viscosity is high, and warming.

Pours dark, black like oil with the same type of viscosity and lots of khaki colored head. Bourbon, coffee, roasted malt, and cocoa on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some heat from the bourbon. Delicious.

P: Completly black ink, light brown shading and a brown head forms but it leaves quickly leaving nothing but a thin trace. S: Huge bourbon notes, light molasses, dark fruits, light alcohol and a hint of tobacco. Not much coffee to speak off. T: Sweet dark fruits, molasses, bourbon, tobacco, and some faint coffee in the back. M: Thick and chewy, noticeable carbonation with a warm finish without that alcohol bite. O: Well done, made for the cold sipping months. Wish there was more of a coffee character, but they did a well job keeping this one drinkable.

Truly a marvelous ber. Lots of chocolate, coffee and bourbon are the main characteristics. Subtle Molasses notes. Strong alcohol notes, although very well balanced given the %. Quite complex and delicious.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Nose brings out shitloads of coffee upfront, along with bourbon barrels and some light roast. Flavour is complex, with loads of coffee upfront, followed by roasted malt and subdued bourbon. Very complex and rich, and well-balanced. Excellent extreme beer.

Bottle - Coffee and roast notes. Jet black and a decent head. Tastes as it smells, decent but not worth the high price.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Pours black with a rich cinnamon brown head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee mostly with hints of bourbon and wood. Bourbon is certainly present in the taste with booze, vanilla, oak, and coconut flavors complemented by rich roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Some dark fruit even makes its way to the party. Awesome. As expected there is plenty of bitterness and warmth that lingers on the palate. An outstanding barrel-aged imperial stout.

Draft at Big Wood 2014. Black. Tan had. Huuuge nose, sweet molasses and chocolate /vanilla dominate the coffee, which is just present enough. Coffee comes rising through in the flavor, boozy, sticky, as much flavor as a beer could have. Big oak. Warm coffee finish that just lingers forever. Wow.
