COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

Bottle at RBWG 2016. Thanks Homer321! Nose is huge in bourbon and coffee. Deep roasty overtones with vanilla and booze. Taste is a huge coffee boozy flavor. Just decadent. Thick and chewy. Obvious booze influence and warming but quite smooth for 18%

Bottle at hotel lobby fart share @RBWG 2016. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, coffee, wood, vanilla, raw sugar, raisins and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of bourbon, coffee, licorice and boost. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Pretty high boost. Good stuff.

Bottle shared. Oily black pour with thin veil of tan foam. Aroma is super rich, tobacco, coffee, bourbon, roasty. Taste is bitter and sweet, massive flavor, chocolate, light booze. Palate is full bodied with med-light carbonation. Tasty.

12 oz. bottle. Bottled Jan 25 2016. ABV 17.5% per the label. Pours a medium, well retained, tiny bubbled, beige head,j with slight lacing, over a black (SRM 40) clear body.....nose is bourbon, heavy coffee, vanilla, dried fruits including plum, molasses, tobacco, mild herbal notes, balance to the barrel and malts.....taste is quite sweet with bourbon, vanilla, molasses, light dried fruit, strong coffee, chocolate, finishing with mild hop notes.....mouth feel, heavy, sticky body, alcohol heat almost burn, present, moderate carbonation. This is on the dessert end of the Imperial Stout spectrum, with high sweetness, bourbon, coffee notes dominant. The alcohol is high enough to be a bit unpleasant. BJCP 9/3/15/4/8

Bottle thanks to Bursprak. Big want for a while! Pours pitch oily black, no head. Aromas of burned wood, gunpowder, vanilla, molasses, sweet chocolate, light coffee, fudge. Taste has the same gunpowdery burned wood, chocolate, bourbon, fudge, vanilla, caramel, sweet coffee. Damn nice.

Thick black pour from 12oz bottle at home. Super rich thick and cocoa flavor. Massive beer but fantastic. Blind taste test gave this number 1. Coffee and vanilla.

Aroma is very boozy. Flavor is chocolate bourbon, sweet and boozy. My favorite of a blind test. Pours black with a tan head. Smooth

Bottle... Pours black with a small, fleeting, off-white head. Charcoal and alcohol stand out in the aroma, but finally, some coffee breaks through. Full-bodied and silky with modest carbonation. The flavor features big, red hot bourbon, fudge and a nuance of coffee. Lengthy, burnt, acrid, chest-warming finish. I like bourbon, but this is overbearing. The coffee is dwarfed. Good thing I like bourbon. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

2014 bottle into snifter. Appearance: pitch black, tan head that disappeared immediately; no lacing. Aroma: bourbon, coffee, dark chocolate, soy sauce, oak smoke, vanilla, molasses. Taste and palate are not discernable because of the bourbon, it’s nothing but bourbon. I’m a huge fan of barrel aged stouts, this is by far the worst I’ve had from an elite brewery. Terrible. I shoulda just bought a bad bottle of bourbon and thrown a Hershey bar in the glass.

Huge beer with a oily black pour. Boozy, huge coffee aroma. Taste is insanely sweet and boozy but still retains good rich flavor.
