Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2015 Bottle shared by a friend.2014 batch. Poured a oily pitch black colour with a non to long lasting mocha tanned head. Nose has dark roasted malts, burned caramel, hot sticky bourbon, with a strong spiced alcohol notice in the nose. Fudge, and strong pressed espresso. Taste is a huge spiced alcohol bomb, with murky blended coffee and hints of bourbon. To Much alcohol

No third-wave, light-roasted, Panamanian Geisha here. This is Maillard-to-the-max, dark-roasted coffee beer, aged in wood. It will give you the yips. And a most pleasant buzz.

12 oz bottle, PDT 10-28-14- Pours pitch black with a thin mocha colored crackly head that reduces leaving a collar. Aroma is bourbon, wood, chocolate, charcoal, coffee less so than i would have thought, sweet and dessert like. The taste is coffee, chocolate, wood, bourbon, vanilla, alcohol burn. The alcohol is noticeable, at this percentage it’s unavoidable, but smooth for the high abv. I honestly wish there was even more coffee here, the barrel has well blended and balanced everything nicely though. Good beer, for the most part what i expected.

Dégustée au RBBSG 2015. Cheers all!

Bottle from beerlover_ben @ RBBSG 2015. Many thanks! Black colour, almost no foam. Sweet nose of bourbon and vanilla. Thick body. Also coffee roastiness. Alcoholic but not bad.

Thanks to Beerlover_Ben! 355 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. 17.81 % ABV. Bottled on 28/10/2014. Black, some mocha bubbles on the sides. Nose is huge bourbon & very thick roasted coffee, heavy on the roast, molasses, syrup & sugar. Taste is huge bitter roast, very bitter coffee with a pretty big alcohol punch, thick bourbon, vanilla barrel, obscured a bit by the very heavy roast, touch molasses, caramel, faint vanilla way in the back, bitter black chocolate,… Quite thick bodied. Delivers exactly what it promised. Too bad I am more into sweet coffee as opposed to the bitter stuff featured here otherwise I would have rated this higher.

Happy birthday America! 12oz bottle poured into BCBS stemware. Aroma is booze, caramel, vanilla and roasted coffee. Flavor is much of the same the finish is black coffee intertwined with vanilla and caramel. That’s good stuff.

Bottle @ ZEBF 2015. Strong stuff this one. Full thick taste of coffee, vanilla and some cacao. Very boozy, but quite nice.
