COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Re-named BA Meph Addict.
Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development—a 4-month Hiatus in bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers.

Served on draft. Black with an average mocha head and nice lacing. Smells like bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Taste is strong bourbon flavors with coffee, bakers cocoa, and some oak and vanilla. Thick mouthfeel and lingering flavor. Outstanding beer.

355ml bottle enjoyed @ home, thanks to Daniel Jensen! Pours black with a beige head. Aroma is really nice with coffee, roasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, caramel, oak and molasses. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter and salty. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is coffee, bourbon and a alcohol burn.

2014 bottle pours midnight black with a little tan head. Big huge barrel notes. Body is thick and chewy. A ton of flavors in this-barrel, burnt malts, coffee, etc. Really good-quite the sipper.

Tastes like a good Irish coffee! Cold-pressed coffee and a little boozy, though nowhere near what you’d expect from 17.5%.

Bottle courtesy of linusb. Pours viscous black with a very small mocha head that leaves a very small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fuege, charred almost burnt wood, dark roast coffee, dark bitter chocolate, plain salty soy sauce, roasted coconut, moist soil and burning bourbon alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet, heavy bitter, salty, malty and boozy. Mouthfeel is intense, harsh, tiny round, astringent, heavy boozy and full bodied. Finish is long with extreme sweetness, extreme bitterness and booze. Too sweet, too bitter, too salty and pretty much just too much. Not my cup of tea at all!

Fresh ground coffee and strong esters. Pours black with a faintest of brown hues. Dark tan head that fizzles away to nothing pretty quickly. Glassy smooth with a boozy warmth sliding down the throat. Hard root beer candy. Tons of strong black coffee. Vanilla. Maybe some spice. The booziness gets warmer and warmer. Just wow. Just freakin wow.

2015/04/02 - Pours motor oil black with a thick, foamy, tan head that slowly dissipates and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is vanilla, toffee, chocolate, coffee, wood and a hint of whisky. Taste is sweet toffee, vanilla, wood, cocoa and lots of bourbon. Mouthfeel is medium to thick and oily with mildly biting carbonation and a warming, boozy finish. Finish is a touch harsh, but overall this beer is pretty awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rich and complex aromas, with each sniff i pick up another aroma. Initially it was cocoa powder, dark chocolate and fresh coffee beans. As it warms the barrel is coming through- bourbon, vanilla, oak, and a touch of booze. Black body, plenty of carbonation feeding the pillowy tan cap, kinda surprised for a high ABV to see a head like this. Palate is thick and syrupy with a touch of carbonation. Taste is predominantly of the bourbon, with hints of vanilla, wood, chocolate, the bitter roastiness of the coffee is coming through. A big alcohol taste is noticeable but this is 17.5% so... A nice big beer, but the price would keep me from buying another.

Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is whiskey, coffee, dark fruit, dark grains and alcohol. Taste follows nose.
