Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, malty, alcohol - whisky - bourbon, barrel, soy sauce. Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a pitch black with a smallish brown head. Sweet roasty aroma, sweet Bourbon as well. Very rich body, sweet roast, dark dried fruit and loads of Bourbon heat. No real bitterness. The alcohol is not exactly hidden but it’s not really boozy or cloying. 150812

Bottle. Trade with Hallinghansen. Thanks. Pours black with a small creamy beige layer. Nose is soy, roast, alcohol and coffee. Flavor is bourbon, vanilla, roast, coffee , molasses and mild soy. Smooth, slick and oily. Really tasty. Alcohol is extremely well hidden.

(12oz bottle) Pours an opaque black body with a small brown head. Aroma of ash, vanilla, oak, toasted bread, biscuit, and chocolate. Flavor of toasted bread, bourbon, chocolate, brown sugar, dark fruit, and caramel. Alcohol is noticeable, but much higher than I would have guessed.

Bottle at Pspsø’s - Thanks. Pitch black - nice brown head. High high malty, light wooden/bourbon notes, ok alcoholic to cut through the sweetness, rather high sweetness, cocoa, nice hoppy, fresh hoppy notes, dry malty notes, oiley texture, chocolate, warming finish. Nice.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less. Fred’s the man! Pours very dark brown with a transient dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon/vanilla/oak with something unfamiliar. Full bodied +. Flavor is brown sugar, bourbon, oak and very smooth burnt malt. think chocolate also. Complex and tasty. Finishes on the sweet side, but it’s very bourbon/chocolate. Very flavorful.
