Tap at Brewery. Pours a dark, clear amber brown with thin off-white head, thin lace. Aroma is peated malt, smoky, sweet. Flavor is peated malt, smoky, mild malt, with a pleasant, smoky finish. Peated malt dominates the profile but I rather enjoy it. Soft carbonation and medium-light body. Pretty tasty.

Deep amber, yellow when backlit. Light brown cream head. Big chewy, smokey, slightly salty caramel, hint of BBQ, Lightly woody, but not huge vanilla. moss. Medium-heavy body. Light smooth, almost creamy carbonation. Flavor has banana, light smoke, honey, caramel, just a little bit hot. Smooth and yummy. Big smoke for the style, but it’s all good!

Tap @ Avery. Pours a brown appearance with a brown head. Slightly smoky, burnt caramel, toasty malty, herbal, a touch fruity aroma. Light chocolate, very burnt, woody, caramel malty, earthy, toffee flavor. Not a big fan of this one.

On tap at Avery poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of peat smoke, toffee, light carmel and light earthiness. Palate was mediuum bodied and smooth. Flavors of peat smoke, toffee, cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering peat smoke finish.
