A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Yeast and citrus are mostly found in both taste and smell. Lightly carbonated. Wonderful bitterness that fills the mouth a weak moment. Exquisite good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Pours a cloudy pale blonde with a relatively small white head. Typical weiss-scents. Wheaty, yeasty, candy bananas, some tropical fruits and a hint of citrus. Palate is nice and fresh, easy drinking. Uncomplicated session-style wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours cloudy pale yellow with a finger of frothy white head. Aroma of honey, spices, wheat, citrus. Taste is sweet and rich in honey with a peppery and spicy finish. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation.

12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip at approximately 45 degrees F. A: Pours a cloudy pale straw yellow, and forms a thin white head that fades quickly to a ring. Decent, if spotty, lacing. S: Fruit esters, so many of them, swirl out of the glass. Apple, pear, banana, melon, wreathed about some pale wheatiness and a touch of spice. T: Tart and then sweet, the flavor palate opens with a surge of citrus, which yields way to a pear-melon combination. Coriander and a herbaceous tinge color the entire tasting, growing stronger as it moves along, until the finish is primarily those flavors. M: Light bodied, but just heavy enough to feel like a decent beer. O: Not an overdone, overblown reach, but a more subtle approach to the style. What hop presence is there does not overpower and command everything for me, the way many more hop-prevalent beers do. J’approuve.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods. Aroma a bit heavy with a hint of coriander and wheat. Mouth feel is zesty and creamy at the same time, medium high carbonation with spicy citrus zest, cloves, and coriander on a bready, malt base. Solid Belgian spice blend. Light bodied and refreshing with a crisp, dry finish. A fine witbier; very refreshing and completely drinkable.

Can. Bright yellow. Aroma is banana and spice, I assume it’s coriander. The taste adds orange peel, floral hop notes, and some yeasty funk. Smooth light bitterness with a clean finish. Overall, the best witbier I’ve had. Very good.

Smells like a banana flavoring muffin. This is a banana/juicy fruit gum bomb. Overall, it tastes better than it smells but not my style.
