COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Bottle from bishops in stockholm. A nice belgian white beer, with a fair appearance, aroma and taste leaving the best to the palate.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white rocky head; nice retention and decent lace. Aroma is strong in coriander, clove, wheat, Belgian yeast. Taste is sweet and lightly sour. Thin body with medium carbonation. A nice beer, but the clove character makes it more reminiscent of a Bavarian Hefeweizen than a Belgian Wit.

Can - Pours lightly hazy yellow with a thin white bubbly head. Yeasty and lightly sweet aroma, with banana, a bit of clove, and a touch of citrus. A little plastic smell in there too--not sure what’s up with that. Taste is much of the same, though drier than the smell. Finishes with minerally aspirin and a touch of stale hops. Smooth, slick, and full-bodied, with adequate carbonation. Nice.

12 oz. can- Pours semi cloudy whitish straw yellow with a nice 1 finger white head, lacework is also good. The aroma I could smell banana as soon as I popped the can open, there is also yeast and clove, It smells like a German hefe. The flavor is creamy, banana, spicy coriander seed, very yeasty, tart and tangy in the aftertaste. The body is medium to almost full, carbonation is high. A good beer for a hot summer day. Cool label too.

Serving: 12 oz can from Fireworks. It pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thin white head. The nose is pleasantly lemony with a bit of yeast. The flavor is grain first with light lemon, a bit of dough, and slight yeast notes. The body is light with lower carbonation and a clean finish. A solid Wit.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Poured from a tap into a Goblet at The Linkery in San Diego, Calif. About two inches of head. Lots of film, which stayed on the glass throughout. Lacing on the top almost made it all the way through as well. Color was honey golden. Smelled sweet cloves and light cinnamon. Lemon/citrus in there, too. A roller coaster of flavors that rolled off the mouth. Cloves still ruled the day, but there was some orange in there as well. Mild carbonation. Somewhat refreshing and a consistent taste. Not too bad of a beer. It was a much better experience than the Salvation. I would like to try some more Avery’s.

Bottle. Fruit and wheat aroma. A similar taste, with a musky element to it. Has a smooth finish. 5.6% alcohol.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow (looks like lemonade) and has a nice half inch white head that lasts. Taste is of wheat, yeast, banana, orange and some spice. Has a similar aroma. The body is a bit chewy and slightly watery. Easy to drink, refreshing and quite enjoyable.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.
