6 pack from the inlaws. Pours hazy golden straw yellow, a vigorous pour reveals a white head that leaves an interesting lacing trail. The orange peel is apparent in the nose, but not in the mouth... As the opposite it true for the coriander. Pleasant amount of spice, silky body. This is an easy drinker.

Originally rated on 9/7/08. Nice label and name but I found the white rascal rather average and a little below my expectations considering the quality of Averys other products. The body was a slightly hazy yellow with plenty of carbonation that gave it a thick head. Flavor of citrus but it also had odd aftertaste. It was worth trying however i dont believe i would purchase it again

12 oz can. Pours hazy apricot topped with a generous, foamy off-white head. Typical fruity and spicy aroma with banana and clove. Light, lively body. Overall: mainstream and decent version of the style.

Can from systembolaget sweden. Big and lasting white head. Clear solid yellow color. Small wheat aroma. Bland and boring taste.

If you know Wheat Ales, it’s pretty hard not to know about Avery’s White Rascal. It’s for a good reason; White Rascal is very tasty. Bread, straw, and light banana from the malt. Some spice and zesty citrus notes, also. Body is light-bodied, soft and slightly creamy. Finish is kind of dry, refreshing. It takes no time at all to chase off one of these.

Aroma of bubble gum, and some spices. Cloudy light straw color with a thick white head....hangs for a bit. Slightly sweet wheat up front. Some gum, a hint of lemon, and some spices. Bitterness balances well with sweetness, earthy with some peppercorn. Slightly chalky mouthfeel. O.k.

5.6%ABV. Wheat beer. Poured out pale blonde. 3ºSRM. Nose has beery, sweet nose. Mouthfeel is sudsy. Carbonation is pronounced. There is a yeasty, dusty, phenolic palate. There are wheat flour, raw dough, water biscuit like flavors. Finish is nondeScript.

Draft. Pouts slightly hazy yellow with white head and lacing. Nose of orange citrus, bananas, and coriander. Sweet bready wheat malt with banana and coriander. Some orange in the long but thin finish. Body is a bit thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: cloudy straw with a short, short-lived white head, minimal lacing. (3/5) Aroma: banana and clove, bready yeast, orange peel. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, mild bitter, light peppery spice. (7/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate-low carbonation, off-dry lightly spicy finish. (3/5) A decent, easy-drinking witbier. Pleasantly light, with a little citrus bite in the finish. Not memorable, perhaps, but OK. (13/20)
