A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, thatís yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

6 pack from the inlaws. Pours hazy golden straw yellow, a vigorous pour reveals a white head that leaves an interesting lacing trail. The orange peel is apparent in the nose, but not in the mouth... As the opposite it true for the coriander. Pleasant amount of spice, silky body. This is an easy drinker.

Can from a trade with Cunningham. Cloudy golden to yellow color, white head. Peach nose, melon, passion fruit, wheat malt, mango, light spicy. Peach and mango taste, yeast, minerals, dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods. Aroma a bit heavy with a hint of coriander and wheat. Mouth feel is zesty and creamy at the same time, medium high carbonation with spicy citrus zest, cloves, and coriander on a bready, malt base. Solid Belgian spice blend. Light bodied and refreshing with a crisp, dry finish. A fine witbier; very refreshing and completely drinkable.

Can. Bright yellow. Aroma is banana and spice, I assume itís coriander. The taste adds orange peel, floral hop notes, and some yeasty funk. Smooth light bitterness with a clean finish. Overall, the best witbier Iíve had. Very good.

Smells like a banana flavoring muffin. This is a banana/juicy fruit gum bomb. Overall, it tastes better than it smells but not my style.

Warm, grainy aroma, containing wheat and hints of white cheese. Canít taste the coriander though, allegedly included in this brew. Some citrus in the flavor, some wheat. Rice porridge present. Still overall fresh.

There is a sweet, malty aroma with yeast and spices breaking through. The taste is grassy with wheat structure, hay, some banana, coriander and citrus. Pretty clean overall. Iím no big fan of witbier but this one is quite alright

Pours pale yellow with a half finger white head with just a little lacing. Aroma wheat, corriander, orange peel, spices, and citrus. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a watery mouthfel and a dry, mostly sweet, medium-short finish. Overall, a decent wheat ale.

Orange gul farge med hvitt skum. Lukt av krydder og banan. Fruktig smak med innslag av sÝdme sitrus og banan. Lite bitter avslutning. Medium fylde.
