2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 bartlebier (462) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2013
12oz can, thanks Allen for the canned Avery mini-series! - Pours a cloudy, light but viscous orange. Nose heavy on yeast spice, coriander seeds and sweet fruit. Taste is full, but already mid-way between a lemon & yeast-based Wit and a fruitier German-style Weizen, heavier banana and peach notes sneaking in. Palate is slightly oily and adhesive, I prefer a drier, more attenuated Wit for it to be truly refreshing.

12 oz. bottle pours a hazy light yellow color with small white head and not much lacing. Aroma is of wheat, yeast, coriander, and lemon. Taste is slightly bitter at the finish. The body is light but not watery with light carbonation. Very easy to drink and refreshing on a hot day, but doesn’t give too much to ponder.
