COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Aroma: Clean with citrus notes, and mild spice. Appearance: Thick white head, hazy yellow. Flavor: Great wheat beer. Spice very noticeable but not overpowering. Palate: A little watery, with decent carbonation. Overall: Great beer, I’d happily drink this again.

Bottled, consumed on 01/16/08. Poured into a weizen glass, the beer is a very pale, cloudy yellow. A two-fingered head formed upon pouring, but subsided within a minute to a thin skin of white foam. Banana and clove greet the nose with a sugary aroma. Mouthfeel is smoother than expected, almost creamy. Controlled pepperiness comes out initially. Malty, wheaty flavor spiked with a faint metallic tang (yeast?) in the mid-mouth. Did not note the citrus or sourness that some others report. Very slight note of astringency and a subtle bitterness finish off the palate. Not the best I have had, but very, very good.

12oz. bottle . Pours a pale yellow with a very thin white head of moderately sized bubbles. Smells like a Belgian. Yeasty with lots of malt with a slight hint of citrus. Tastes like a belgian but more crisp. Bitter up front with lots of malt and smooth and sweet on the finish. Palate is fizzy. Almost makes the mouth pucker at first and very smooth down the gullet. Very drinkable brew and catchy because its a white belgian.

Wonderful aroma of complex spices, extremely smooth flavor and palate...don’t confuse smooth with bland...this beer is very tasty and disappears from the palate almost instantly causing me to crave more and more!

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 4oz sample at Clarkston Union, later confirmed by a 12oz bottle

Pours pale, hazy, gold/straw. Copious and frothy head, recedes rockily. Mild orange laced in a mostly wheaty aroma with a definite banana note. Light, lots of citrus character backing up a nice and pleasant wheat profile. Smooth, drinks easy. Slightly sweet with little to no bittering, with subtle spice on a nice crisp finish. A good, mild beer that doesn’t lack flavor.

Location/Date:Can on July 16th given by Dave enjoyed at Kravitz Deck & Grill.

Appearance: Pours a yellow cloud.
Aroma: Aroma is sweet from the wheat.
Taste: A little sweet up front, and of a little bit of orange.
Palate:Medium body.

Summary: My first non-macro love was Witbiers and I still have a soft spot for them, despite my IPA leanings. This is a really nice example of the style.

Pretty decent belgian style. easy to drink. Not a very complex beer but the coriander flavoring is nice. Very refreshing beer. Good beer to give someone who is new to the craft beers.
