2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 15, 2004
This bottled brew from the BW3 in Fort Wayne, IN poured a medium sized head of white colored fine top medium sized bubbles that left behind a fair lace. The body was a softly carbonated transparent weak yellow pee color. The aroma was mildly malty and hoppy while favoring the hops. The mouth feel was smooth with no bite and a mild tingle. The flavor was malty and contained a few wheat notes.

Ok beer on the flavor side but it smelled like amonia and natto. Flavor had some spiceiness but hard to identify.

Bottle. Thick three finger white head on a very light gold body. Nose smells like suntan lotion and bannana. Let me set the record straight-I do not like Witbier. Now, having said that, this isn’t too bad for what it is. The taste is very mild and almost a little smokey. Flavors of wheat, bannana, smoke, and sausage (yup, that’s right, sausage) are there. The finish is very clean mild. Overall, it’s okay, but I would not drink it again by choice.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jlf278 (287) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 24, 2010
appearance is....out of the ordinary...very pale and translucent...like piss but not in a completely unappealing way. Aroma is very mild but not good...smells like cheap skunky beer. Taste is very weak as well with a hint of lemon but mostly seltzer water. Palate does little to redeem this uninspiring beer. Very watery. Overall, it is better than the sum of its parts as an inoffensive, refreshing summertime drink. However, that is hardly a recommendation.

This is just not my style of beer. I can’t stand the heavy corlander and orange peel flavor. I will keep trying until I find a Whitbier that I can like.

Cloudy yellow with tiny white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with wheaty notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet finish.

This is my second beer from this brewery, and as you can see, I am not imressed. This beer was light enough and though there was little head upon pouring, it ramained active (carbonated) past 20 minutes. I found the taste lemony and dry. Sourness seems faked somehow.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 oreogobbler (228) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2008
Pours a translucent yellow thin white head. Sharp spoiled fruit aroma like rotting lemons. Bread like flavor some lemon and wit yeast. Palate is unpleasant and unbalanced. It’s very rough and not easy to swallow. And to think that before I started to rate I loved this beer. How thing (the palate) changes.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Pipper (325) - Ohio, USA - NOV 29, 2009
On tap at the Beer Engine into shaker. Pours a bright cloudy yellow with almost no head but a tiny white ring. Not a whole lot of aroma and the taste is just as weak. It just tastes like a flatter and more citrusy or spicy watered-down hefeweisen. Not a fan, very boring beer.

This beer has no color. The flavor was very weak, almost none. I would drink Bud Light before I would try this again. A total dissappointment from Avery.
