Pours hazy peach straw colored with a thin fizzy head. Citrus, sour cream, wheaty, coriander and cloves aroma. Surprisingly yeasty flavor, citrus, some sour cream, and not a ton of spices like the aroma would suggest. Excellent drinkability, the yeast & orange peel together really adds that balancing character. Crisp soda like carbonation with a medium body. Good stuff, its hard to come across a proper wheat.

Aug 20, 2008 i was not a huge fan of this witbier, but my palate is a bit particular, and many belgian styles i find to be distasteful. the few that i do like...man, they’re good. this one was served cold from a 12oz. bottle. it poured light yellow/gold with a white head. some lacing. the aroma was floral and citrus-y, which made mequite excited to taste it. taste left something to be desired. smooth, but just not flavorful enough for me to really enjoy it.

does not count  Aug 18, 2008 I love Witbeirs. While this is not a true Witbeir its darn close. This is a good Belgian White that you could drink a lot of on a warm sunny day out on the deck. The aroma is very suttle with slight hints of orange. The appearance is thirst quenching with its golden light color. The palate is nice and smooth. The taste is hard to put your finger on, has very light hints of orange and citrus, but also gives off a floral after taste.

Aug 18, 2008 The color is cloudy and has a thin white head and leaves a white film along the sides of the glass. The nose is very floral and has a nice citrus smell, with a bready finish. The initial taste very fruity and full of citrus and sweet bitter finish. Overall it is a refreshing beer with a good amount of carbonation

Aug 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle purchased as a single at Happy Hour in Independence, Missouri. Pour is a hazy yellow white with a two inch inch white head. There is quite a bit of carbonation rising to the surface, and the head is frothy. Minimal lacing as the head falls. Aroma of soft wheatiness, floral notes, and fruit yeastiness. Some fresh earthiness in the background. Taste is the nose, for the most part. Wheat, interplayed with grassy floral notes. There is also just a touch of citric sourness that was not present in the nose. The fruit from the nose is more orange peel in the taste, and there is a spicy coriander present. Overall, this is a nice drinkable wit, with nice integration and decent complexity.

Aug 13, 2008 Not my favorite style. Lots of "straw" as they like to say. Very light. Works well with non beer loving friends.
