COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 12oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, eventually reducing to a puddled film and medium collar with fair spotty lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt, floral hops and a heavy earthy yeast with notes of coriander and citrus. The taste was lightly bitter and rather yeasty from the beginning and finished about the same with a nice distinct spicy citrus taste towards the end. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a lightly spicy citrusy yeast taste left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was light in body and somewhat watery in texture with a light fizzy carbonation. Overall this was a very tasty and refreshing Witbier which had a nice balance of spice and citrus, thus making this the perfect example of a great summer time brew... ...

Cloudy dark yellow with slight white head. Bigger light body I some soft creamy wheat. Spice in a good lower range. Pleasant kiss of Orange. A nice well rounded wit.

From a can into a pilsner glass. Pours a golden yellow with little head or lacing. Aroma is of yeast and spice. Taste is similar; a definitive Belgian ale. Palate is more of the same. A good Belgian ale at a decent price point. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I thought this beer would have been a bit better than it was. Seemed a little fruity for a witbier.....maybe too citrusy or something. Grew on me a little bit towards the end, but overall a bit yeasty and not that well balanced in flavor. Not bad for the daytime, or if looking for craft lawnmower beer. For the price though, there are probably better alternatives.

From a can. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of traditional belgian wit yeast esters, coriander, orange peel, earthy notes, grassy hops and some bread crust. The taste is weak hoppy with notes of grass, coriander, orange peel, bread crust, sweet wheat, mandarin and some herbal notes. Pretty drinkable!

Pours hazy golden with a puffy white head, good retention. Aromas of bread, orange, banana, coriander, and grass. Light body, smooth and creamy. Lightly sweet, a hint of citrus tartness, light bitter finish. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Delicious brew. Pours a bright, cloudy orange with a thick puffy off white head. The aroma is fruity and floral with estery notes of lemon zest, spice notes and coriander. Crisp and fresh with a coriander and clove spice. Zesty orange rind and lemon zest notes. Overall a nice refreshing brew.

It tasted like wet soggy nachos! Peppery, yeast like, with a hint of cilantro!!!
