A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that’s yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 12oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, eventually reducing to a puddled film and medium collar with fair spotty lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt, floral hops and a heavy earthy yeast with notes of coriander and citrus. The taste was lightly bitter and rather yeasty from the beginning and finished about the same with a nice distinct spicy citrus taste towards the end. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a lightly spicy citrusy yeast taste left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was light in body and somewhat watery in texture with a light fizzy carbonation. Overall this was a very tasty and refreshing Witbier which had a nice balance of spice and citrus, thus making this the perfect example of a great summer time brew... ...

Shared bottle, pint glass. Murky, light white-yellow. Taste of lemon followed by biscuity yeastiness. Spices are there but very subtle. I wasn't impressed by this beer, but must admit I'm not a witbier fan.

20 jan 2015, tap. Murky orange. Nose is orange rind and yeast. Med/thin body and mildly fizzy. I might not think yeasty orange sounds good but it really is.

Pours a super light yellow color with a perfect white head about pencil thick from tap. Aroma is citrusy and wheatlike. Taste is light. Just a little bitterness at the back end. Pretty dry. Taste is pretty thick and lightly carbonated. Crisp and refreshing.

Cloudy, greenish-gold, some head. Medium body, light flavor, low heat and carbonation, flat mouthfeel, avg length, dilute finish. Biscuity, some citrus juice character. Low bitterness and very little acidity make it taste sweeter than it is. Pleasant but not exciting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great balance of these classic ingredients. The light yeast lays a velvety mouthfeel, and the orange spices are not sharp. Leaves your palate refreshed and reaching for another. Raymee.com does a fridge magnet with the can art.

Yeast and citrus are mostly found in both taste and smell. Lightly carbonated. Wonderful bitterness that fills the mouth a weak moment. Exquisite good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
