2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 RSRIZZO (1679) - Colorado Springs, USA - AUG 13, 2011
On tap at Avery Anniversary Party 8/7/11. Color is a hazy pale gold with carbonation is mellow giving a thin tight head. It has a lighter medium body with a light crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in heavy with pine, like a fresh cut tree then grapefruit zest and pepper with a light soap taste coming in. After taste is almost dry with a harsh rosemary thing coming lingering. Overall its just not good, the rosemary overpowers in the end leaving you with some thing that would be better to marinate a lamb chop.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, Colorado, USA - AUG 8, 2011
Tap. Pours hazy gold with a large, creamy white head, medium-long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is rosemary, cereal and meal malt, faint woody hops. Flavor is spicy rosemary and pepper, moderate malt, lightly bitter. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth. The addition of rosemary makes this a love or hate kind of beer, and I thought it was really nice.
