This was a fav when I visited last year. Pour is as expected. Hoppy aroma. Clean resinous vibrant flavor.

Tap. Nice hoppy American style ale here. Enjoyed this one. Copper in color. Did the style well.

Draft at Tyler’s Blue Ribbon Bluegrass Festival in Carrboro. Rather dark for a pale ale, about the color of cherry wood. Not completely clear and a pretty small white head. Smells of brown sugar, toast, and hops. It starts off with mild caramel and roasted grain flavors and finishes with a bit of a hoppy kick. There’s a little something off in the finish, though it’s still an easy drinker. Good session beer.

Draught at Tir Na Nog in Downtown Raleigh. Pours golden, copper, with a medium white head, some lacing. Aroma is a decent balance of malt and hops (caramel, pine, grapefruit). Flavor is similar, little bit on the thin side--I would like a tad bit more malt, but not over the top, and quite drinkable.
