2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 boydstradamus (9) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2011sparkling light golden colored pilsner, light grassy character on the nose. light bodied with a thin lively sparkle. minimal, clean, and abrupt finish. with "crazy" attached to pils, left me wanting more hop character than was provided. draft/growler for my test sample. would work well with spicy foods that need a clean, crisp, but mostly refreshing beverage.

Tap at Milltown. Straw pale golden with small white head. Nose is light and zesty, light herbal notes, lemon/lime, light pepper, and sweetness. Flavor is similar, more hoppy than most pilsners, I guess thats what makes it crazy. Slightly chalky finish.

Couple pints on tap at Fullsteam, Derm. Having been crushing a lot of SA Noble Pils of late, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did. Fizzy golden pour, bright and fresh looking. Nice dry noble hop aroma with a hint of fruits and gentle malt undertones. Very crisp and drinkable mouthfeel. Flavors are robust and floral at the outset, nicely dry to finish. Fine stuff.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 durhambeer (2398) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JAN 26, 2011
On tap at Fullsteam in Durham. Pours slightly hazy bright light gold with welcoming white head. Nose is grassy hops and some bread. Similar taste; very crisp, and with a bone dry finish. I want more.

Pour is a bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is of biscuit malts and a decent saaz hop. Flavor is more of the same with a nice bready malt with a decent hop in the backround. A solid example of the style.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 brewski519 (644) - Morrisville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 1, 2009
Draft - this pils pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of bread, floral hops and corn. Pretty easy tasting with grasses and floral notes at first sip. Not typically a huge pils fan but this one was pretty tasty and I would have no problem ordering it again - looking forward to my next Saturday afternoon visit to the brewery.
