Can. Cloudy straw yellow with a medium, thick, persistent white head. Nose of sourdough and a touch of lemons. Starts off as a nice, smooth wheat beer with only a faint Belgian yeast appearance. Then...POW, this thing finishes with a whollop. Black pepper, ginger, lemon peel, and alcohol. Weird, but I like it pretty well.

This golden colored tripel has a decent head and lacing. The rather floral aroma features fruity Belgian yeast, with less banana/clove than usual. The taste is relatively bitter and tart with some sweet balance. Complex. Near medium body; smooth with low (a tad too low?) carbonation. O: a decent tripel with less banana and clove but noless flavor than average.

Draught at Lexington Beerworks. Yeasty triple. With banana and light fruit throughout. Golden in color. Well done.

Can: Sparkling gold with a nice white head. Scent is yeast, lemon... Taste is wonderfully soft, yeast, fruit... sweet and sugary... Very nice!

A very good tripel style beer. Very fruity and hoppy. Smells like a pilsner and is really strong. Similar to a golden monkey from victory. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Lactic acid and lemon malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Sweet orange, lemon, malt and light astringent alcohol flavor. Very pleasant.

Can - Has a slight cloudy pour with a medium head. Has a sweet yeasty fruit aroma to it and a spicy medium body. I thought the alcohol content was just right in this one. Easy drinking brew.

Canned - Aroma is lots of bread and hops. Little light for a Tripel. Taste is quite full bodied with lots of bready malts. Not a real alcohol taste but another 2% would have brought it there. Overall a nice beer from a local micro brewery! -optemoz

Straw-colored beer that develops little to no head. Nose is slightly sour with hints of apricot and spice, but overall too subtle. Initial taste is crisp with flavors of green apple with a slight bitterness that develops a little sweetness towards the end. Somewhat refreshing, but becomes cloying. Would not drink more than one at a time, but a decent beer.

Pours light gold with a quick white head and light lacing. Nose is a little weak for a tripel, with the expected modest hops, bread, citrus, and alcohol. Flavor is also weak and boring for the style, with light fruity malt balanced against a wanting wall of hops and maybe a pinch of coriander. Admittedly fairly smooth and drinkable, but I expect more from abbey ales.
