COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a fall seasonal beer. This beer will curl your toes and put goosebumps on your arms. A fine collection of traditional fall spices make this a great addition to the holiday season...it will make all humbugs cheery. The beer is dark in color...a bit darker than brown ale. There is a combination of Perle and Willamette hops to provide a contrasting intensity with the fall spices.

On tap at the brewery. Had some nice spices in it, but they didn’t overpower the hops. Definitely a warming beer that I love during the winter.

Deep mahogany color with tan head. Aroma has lots of caramel, raisins, molasses and nutmeg. Taste starts with all kind of spices, like pumpkin pie or pumpkin beers. Finish is more balanced with some toasted malts and earthy bitterness. Medium body with high effervescence. Overall it’s a quite nice spiced ale. The hoppy finish makes it quite drinkable.

Klares rötlich braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch würzig, leicht röstmalzig, rotes malz, Früchte. Geschmack süß malzig, schokoladig, Gewürze, Karamell, interessant.

Interesting brew. Definitely something you’d want on a cold night, but a tad too strong for a real session. Would pair amazingly with some chili or a strong beef stew.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear reddish-brown with a small tan head. The aroma is smoky malt. The taste is the smoky malt with spices.

Dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is spicy, with a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is winter spice, malt and a slightly bitter finish. It’s a bit bland though, and the finish comes off as astringent.

Kinda sweet, almost tastes like a pumpkin ale. Pretty light for an American strong too, but decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sort of the typical winter warmer/stronger brown ale with spices. Growing on me a bit with each sample. Not overboard on the spice, which I prefer. Also seems a little darker in appearance and feel for the style, which probably explains the maltier flavor. I grabbed on end-of the season clearance for about half-price, so well worth the try.

Dark pour almost like a porter. I really enjoy how this beer has A distinct beginning middle and end.The beginning notes are of chocolate and roasted flavors the middle is more sweet with holiday spices and the and finishes withA slight bitterness. Each delicious and very noticeable. Good winter beer!

On draft at the brewery last June during the tour. Dark brown pour. Smoky, some nutmeg. Interesting. Malty sweet finish.

Undated 22oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Pours a clear, dark reddish-mahogany with a modest tan head. Malty, smokey and spicy compared to the average "winter warmer" (as if, with all the variability, such a thing existed). Some dark fruit and hints of hops. Excellent aroma with very good taste. Smooth, medium-full body with medium-low carbonation.
