3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared bomber to snifter (thanks Ray). Looks solid; a semi-transparent orange with off-white head. Smells of bitter hops and malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Somewhat of a dirty orangish golden with sediment floating about, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing. Pithy nose, a little dank and musty. Pith and orange peel on the tongue. Not bitter, not too sweet, very much middle of the road. Slight pixie stix like presense. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Not very bright on the tongue. Seems like a hefty Pale Ale, or perhaps a 3/4 IPA. Enjoyable, but lacks any ZING. Lingering citrus peel and pithiness on the tongue. Thanks for the bottle Jeff!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an orange-amber into the glass, with a soapy 3-finger head that leaves window-wash lacing down the glass. The nose is caramel, toffee, citrus and some light floral notes. Flavors are of toffee, biscuit flour, tart citrus and bitters. The elongated finish is biscuity, of dry flour and woody earth. The body is medium with an active mouthfeel. Decent IPA here, substantive and very drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this one on-tap at Red Robin in Mooresville. Spent a day on the lake and needed some red meat and beer close it out. Glad to see this one on tap in the midst of below-average beer. Came out poured-to-the-brim a deep orange/gold. The nose was ripe with fresh hops. Carried with it a mild toasted finish.
Moderate-to-full feel. Carbed up well. Hops are king in this one. Bitter goodness, with a subtle sweet kiss, takes over. Peppery and spicy as well. I’ve got to take a bite of burger to calm my tastebuds down after sipping this one. A really bitter one here. I like it. Not the most refreshing IPA out there, but this gets it done. Nice work, Aviator.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I think this is a pretty reasonable IPA, but nothing remarkable. Pours a darker golden color with a moderate white head. Good level of hoppiness to it, but not too much. Easy drink.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Milltown. Light cloudy golden with light white lace. Nose is pretty nice-light tropics, citrus, mango, guava, light grass, some
Light cotton candy. Flavor is very bitter, grassy, very waxy, dry and astringent. Really like that nose- this is good to see

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Clear pale color. Finger thick no rocky off white head. Chinook aroma is robust. Quite bitter for a IPA. I've had double IPAs that don't linger as long as this one. It tastes like it was dry hopped with cascade. It's that prevalent. Lacing is among the best I've seen. Awesome.
