3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. can from Lighthouse. It pours a rich gold color with an off white head. The aroma has strong pine, florals and grapefruit with a fair amount of caramel malt. The flavor has more strong pine, grapefruit and sweet caramel/toffee. Full bodied and a little too sweet for me, but the hop character was strong and satisfying. Good bitter finish. Decent stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Out of a can drank out of a tulip glass. At first sip this beer is smooth then quickly the hops show up bringing up citrus and pine notes with some pineapple. Big bite finish that bring this beer to a fantastic end! Very enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. 8/17/14. Pours a hazy gold-amber with a thin, white head. Aroma is spicy, tropical fruits, caramel, toffee, stewed oranges, mango, some grass, citrus is prominent. Taste is similar; dry tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit rind, pine, juniper, moderate bitterness, hint of caramel; finish is long and bitter, grapefruit rind. Lacking is thin but consistent. Medium-full bodied. Medium-low carbonation. The flavor is fine; the bitterness is very evident as is the alcohol. But the appearance and the aroma are especially engaging. It smells like brewing, which is really cool; it reminds me of every brewery I’ve walked into during brew day. I like that. the color is also very engaging and nice. Over all, more than decent. Enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
St. Augustine, FL - Broudy’s Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz can. Dark golden-orange pour, slight off-white head. Nice aroma with some floral accents mixed in with the usual spruce offerings. Flavor has some solid citrus bitterness, a touch of maple syrup sweetness, a bit of caramel. Mouthfeel has s bit of a sting to it - but not a major detractor. Decent.

Draft at Gainesville House of Beer. Pours a clear amber color with a foamy white head. Sudsy lacing along the glass. Aroma has pine and grapefruit notes and a bit of funkiness. Flavor is mostly bitter with a hint of sweetness. Lots of pithy grapefruit in the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
can @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Clear dark amber with a slow-to-recede 1" rocky ivory head, heavy mottled lace. Taste is strong malt, followed by solid citrus hops. The original malt is strong enough to hold its own, leaving no choice but to have malt and hops move nicely together to a lingering finish. Somewhat derivative, but still very well done.
