3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours orange amber and hazy with a fat and foamy yellow-tinged white head. Excellent lacing throughout. A fine-looking pour. Aroma is sweet pine and peach citrus. Taste is hop forward and quite bitter. Slight sweetness/orange-lemon citrus is buried deep but there. A bit metallic upfront and a walk into pine boughs and flowers out back. Dry bitter aftertaste. Straightforward; not complex. Visually outstanding; good nose but taste falls a bit short.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a rusty orange amber pour with a nice head. Nose is light citrus with resin and pine, not a deep aroma at all. Taste is mildly bitter with orange citrus notes. Finish is bitter sweet, dry and drinks rather easy even for lager lovers. Solid, but nothing special. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Lattina. Colore biondo-arancio, profumata, a differenza delle ipa ’classiche’, questa è decisamente più amara.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz Bottle. The pour was a murky medium orange with an average (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that receded slowly, down to a large fluffy cap which lasted throughout and produced full sheets of sticky lacing.
The aroma was of a biscuit malt, floral and spruce hops and a cheesy yeast with notes of citrus (orange and lemon peel), a light fruity ester (pineapple I believe) and caramel.
The taste was mildly sweet with a hint of caramel at first, but quickly became extremely hoppy and lightly fruity with a bold citrus peel bitterness that had a nice bite right at the end. The flavor hung around for a very long time after the swallow with everything else finally giving way to a long lingering citrus peel bitterness.
Mouthfeel was almost medium in body and extremely dry in texture with a carbonation that just past medium in intensity.
Overall this was an exceptional IPA with a strong bold bitterness, which was balanced nicely by a light fruitiness and a mild caramel sweetness giving it a smooth and easy drinkability… www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

Can. A decent piney IPA. Nothing too special with the appearance or scent, but the flavor packs a nice hoppy, grassy, piney flavor.

Tap. Good citrusy aroma. But the flavor is just not where it should be. The finish is also a little bit of a let down. Overall, it’s better than any of the macro brews, though.

12oz can: pours a clear deep golden with a clingy-lacing froth of white head. Has a fresh resiny hoppy nose with some underlying toasted caramel sweetness. Starts with good fullness and medium effervescence with a light malty sweetness and good resiny bitterness with a floral hop character before a drier bittersweet finish. Could be a little smoother and more drinkable, but is otherwise a nice IPA.
