Great citrusy hop aroma. Pours slightly hazey. Strong hop taste from the "c-hops". Very refreshing.

Draft. Pours a darker golden color, thin tan head. One of the better aromas in my opinion, really enjoyed it - floral, grass, pine, citrus, and touch of berry. Medium sweet flavor. Medium body, average carb, medium bitter hop finish. Best offering from Aviator with this well-round IPA.

Had this one on-tap at Red Robin in Mooresville. Spent a day on the lake and needed some red meat and beer close it out. Glad to see this one on tap in the midst of below-average beer. Came out poured-to-the-brim a deep orange/gold. The nose was ripe with fresh hops. Carried with it a mild toasted finish.
Moderate-to-full feel. Carbed up well. Hops are king in this one. Bitter goodness, with a subtle sweet kiss, takes over. Peppery and spicy as well. I’ve got to take a bite of burger to calm my tastebuds down after sipping this one. A really bitter one here. I like it. Not the most refreshing IPA out there, but this gets it done. Nice work, Aviator.

Draft. Clear pale color. Finger thick no rocky off white head. Chinook aroma is robust. Quite bitter for a IPA. I've had double IPAs that don't linger as long as this one. It tastes like it was dry hopped with cascade. It's that prevalent. Lacing is among the best I've seen. Awesome.

1/2 Pint at Revolution Pizza. Pours a pretty orange color with a good head. The aroma is surprisingly good, I wasn’t expecting this kind of straight up PNW hop goodness. It’s not anything out of the ordinary but the grapefruit, assorted citrus and evergreen aromas are solid and clean. The body is crisp and medium weight. This is a solid and very drinkable IPA. Lots of pine on this one, especially in the finish along with an interesting herbal note, something like rosemary, that I’ve tasted in some of Yazoo’s Hop Projects. There is a strong, clean bitterness throughout the flavor and a even malt presence for balance. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and am intrigued as to why so many other raters on the site did not care for this one. Perhaps Aviator has gotten their proverbial IPA shit together.

My first beer at Brewgrass 2010 (I had to get some verification first, so that’s why it took me so long to rate it. In case you were wondering) - great way to start. I have huge weekness for crisp, flowery anc citrusy IPA’s, with a slightly thinner body. Really tasty stuff!

Orange pour with frothy off white head and lace. Large resiny hops and some bread. Resiny hops, bread, dry bitter finish, with a very large resiny bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation and the bitter lays hard on your tongue. Pretty nice
