COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA uses Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, and is further dry hopped with Magnum and Willamette. 2-Row Pale, Vienna and Crystal malts balance nicely, resulting in a bright, citrus forward flavor.

Bottle:   Somewhat of a dirty orangish golden with sediment floating about, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Pithy nose, a little dank and musty.   Pith and orange peel on the tongue.   Not bitter, not too sweet, very much middle of the road.   Slight pixie stix like presense.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Not very bright on the tongue.   Seems like a hefty Pale Ale, or perhaps a 3/4 IPA.   Enjoyable, but lacks any ZING.   Lingering citrus peel and pithiness on the tongue.   Thanks for the bottle Jeff!

Sampled at pinball. Golden and hazed. A fruity aroma of tangerines. Tasted, too. Bitterness is moderate. Anice IPA and itbis the only one at our tasting.

Crisp, very lightly hazy golden and light copper coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, resin, grapefruit, passionfruit, tropical fruits and a nice malt backbone - very nice smelling. Medium-bodied; Biting hop flavour of grass, flowers and tropical fruits with not much malt and not much else - fairly one dimensional and just hoppy. Aftertaste shows more grassy and herbal hop notes, but again, not much malt depth nor alcohol flavours. This is fairly light and seems high at 6,7% abv with more of a light IPA flavour and style that is evident. Overall, if you like session-based IPAs but want a touch more alcohol, this one is good for you. I actually like this style of IPAs with a less-strong malt note and a good dose of hops in the mix - this one fits the billing. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina on 02-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-September-2014.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Total Wine & More in Ballantyne (Charlotte), N.C. Price: $1.99 Purchased: Sept. 9, 2014 Consumed: Sept. 15, 2014 Misc.: N/A Poured a caramel, orange , hazy color with 5-to-6 fingers of rocky, off-white head. Tons of streams of bubbles coming up around the glass. Very good foamy lacing along the sides of the glass all the way down. Great retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.19) Smelled wet Cascade hops, Columbus hops, caramel, soapy pine, light crayon, faint mango, orange zest, floral hops and slight grapefruit juice. (Smell - 3.81) Tasted much different than the nose and the much different wasn’t better. Got vegetable hops, buttery earthy notes, onions, wet Cascade hops, caramel, honey, bitter mango rind, Citra hops, light floral hops and Columbus hops. Buckling bitter finish on the tongue. (Taste - 3.49) Light-to-medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, astringent, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.33) Not a big fan of this beer. Too earthy and too much butter veggies. (Overall - 3.52) 3.58 81 B

Can at Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy grapefruit, pine and resin hops with pear esters and biscuit malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

12 oz. can from Lighthouse. It pours a rich gold color with an off white head. The aroma has strong pine, florals and grapefruit with a fair amount of caramel malt. The flavor has more strong pine, grapefruit and sweet caramel/toffee. Full bodied and a little too sweet for me, but the hop character was strong and satisfying. Good bitter finish. Decent stuff.

Poured from a tap. Clear golden color, nice white medium head. Great floral hops essence. Nice complexity to the flavor, medium body with a slight floral hop taste and a Creme de mint Character and a nice finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: Can. Pours a pale amber color with a frothy white head. Nice citrus and pine nose. Flavor has a solid bitterness with plenty of pine needle, grapefruit, and orange peel. Decent toasted malt backbone. Fairly dry finish. Nice little IPA.

Out of a can drank out of a tulip glass. At first sip this beer is smooth then quickly the hops show up bringing up citrus and pine notes with some pineapple. Big bite finish that bring this beer to a fantastic end! Very enjoyable.

Can. 8/17/14. Pours a hazy gold-amber with a thin, white head. Aroma is spicy, tropical fruits, caramel, toffee, stewed oranges, mango, some grass, citrus is prominent. Taste is similar; dry tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit rind, pine, juniper, moderate bitterness, hint of caramel; finish is long and bitter, grapefruit rind. Lacking is thin but consistent. Medium-full bodied. Medium-low carbonation. The flavor is fine; the bitterness is very evident as is the alcohol. But the appearance and the aroma are especially engaging. It smells like brewing, which is really cool; it reminds me of every brewery I’ve walked into during brew day. I like that. the color is also very engaging and nice. Over all, more than decent. Enjoyable.
