COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hearty extra special beer or basically a pale ale on steroids. A dark amber beer with a rich blend of malts. The base malt is full kilned pale 2-row barley. This beer has a great heavy late hop addition

Middle of the road ESB. Had a nice and hoppy plate with nice coloring. But didn’t wow me.

Below average ESB but sill not a bad beer. It is sweet and has a light bitterness without much finish.

Hazy gold with a small white head which quickly left. Sweet and sour malts on aroma, flavor was very bland for a supposedly pale ale, finish was watery and unimpressive.

Tap. A decent middle of the road ESB, very drinkable, decent looking, some lacing. maybe a little sweet but grounded with a mineral and bread qualities.

On tap at the Busy Bee, Raleigh. Hazy gold with a white head. Sweet, malty nose, some herbal notes. Sweet malt flavors, biscuity, mild earthy bitter. Meh.

Tried this one at the World Beer Festival in Raleigh NC. Pours a hazy yellow with whitish head. Earthy, malty nose. Taste of hops, malt and biscuit. Decent beer. Would like to try more of this one.

Sample at WBF. Pours a hazy gold with a one finger offwhite head. THe nose was sweet, malty, herbal malt feel, biscuity. Flavor shows some corn, sweet, diacetyl, mild earthy hop feel. Palate shows no body or carbonation.

Draught, at Tir na nog in downtown Raleigh. Pours hazy brown/copperish, with a large offwhite head and extremely good retention. Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet nuts, bread, similar flavor. More bitter than expected, but still well balanced. Nice kind of unfiltered beer.

from growler, Good aroma, sweet. Yeasty, doughy, Little wet autumn leaves. Hazed brownish orange color, ok head good lace. Bitter flavor, pale malt, bread, little grassy tinny, lite body, creamy mouth feel, bitter dry finish. good beer, easy to drink, aroma had some nice moments as it warmed, got more out of it as it warmed.
