Our pumpkin beer is an Oktoberfest or Marzen style beer infused with real pumpkin and fall spice. Pumpkin Beast has a malty backbone with an addition of subtle pumpkin flavor. We use German Perle and Hallertau Mittelfruh to give the beer traditional hop flavor that belnds well with the pumpkin. The dark roasted malt and roasted barley round out the PumpkinBeast giving it depth and velvety dry finish. Embrace the cool fall weather and celebrate the pumpkin with PumpkinBeast

12 oz. can from Trader Joe’s, Raleigh. Brownish-orange pour with a short off-white head. Aroma of cooked pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices. Rather subdued pumpkin taste mixed with graham cracker and toffee flavors. Finish is where the cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice tend to come forward. A decent pumpkin ale.

Overwrought can, darkish auburn beer, fluffy light tan head. Mildly spicy, ripe fruit aroma. Squashy, dry, starchy, modestly bitter. Medium body. New Leaf Market.

12oz can from The Beer Store Wilson. Dark orange almost red hue, murky clarity with mostly lasting off-white fizzy head. Good lacing. Light citrus hop, very light pumpkin aroma, some dark malt aroma. Light bitter malt up front with more of a pumpkin finish. Light carbonation on the palate. The pumpkin aroma and flavor is very subtle. I did not detect any spice in this beer. Not a bad pumpkin beer, but it is on the bottom of my list.

I was hesitant on purchasing this beer based on Aviators stout which is not good. But I love pumpkin beers. This is a good beer. But not a good pumpkin beer. Pumpkin flavor is only slight. Aroma is mild and bland. Mouth feel is good and real nice malt backbone. Hopping is mild and I feel the hops and the pumpkin nearly cancel each other out. I recommend buying it. Its good. Just not a solid Pumpkin brew.

The aroma is pumpkin and spice with caramel malt and grains. The appearance is amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall good but nothing memorable.

There are no real flaws that makes it undesirable, it's got a weak head and pour but with got a load flavor of malt and grain, pumpkin is dominate but not overpower ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dull amber with a creamy, one-finger eggshell colored head. A lot of spice on the nose, but not overdone. Full-body with competing creaminess and astringency. Just a hint of sourness, toasted malt, and spice. Not bad. I don’t get the poor reviews.

Draft sample at Fishale. Sweet aroma with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is nice with a hint of pumpkin plus a light spice. Mild but nice.

Pint on tap. Clear orange-copper with a lasting ring of bubbles. Nose is lightly spicy caramel, toast and maybe a hint of pumpkin. Tastes the same with some toasted pecan and leafy hop. Near-medium body is balanced and has medium carbonation. Way to go light on the spice.

Savannah, Ga, - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - Abercorn - 12 oz can. Pours a murky dark orange-brown, quickly fading off-white head. Aroma has a light nutmeg tint to it, some ripening vegetables. Flavor is a bit harsh at first with some strong spicy nutmeg notes, a hint of ginger, finishes up with some ripening vegetable notes. Mellows as it warms. Mouthfeel has a decent fullness to it.
