Aroma of spice and fruit, bright golden color. Thin body, mild sweet taste and light spice finish. Not my favorite style but this one was pretty good.

Tempting aroma with a darker than expected appearance, changing taste of muted floral notes and a sticky mouthfeel.

Growler. Pours a clear light amber color with almost no head. Nose is rather spicy and slightly sour. Taste is almost a little smokey, which is weird and off-putting. Do not like this one.

Draft. Hazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma of slightly funky straw. Taste is blackmpepper, sour straw. OK.
2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rrauth (650) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 7, 2012
Hazy orange. Great lacing. White head vanishes. Coriander is prevalent if not over powering. Nice beer with a bit of kick.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Delirium (636) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2012
Draught in Raleigh. Pours golden-orange with a small white head. Aroma is wheat malt, coriander, bit of yeast, some sweet fruit notes. Flavor is mainly wheat malt and coriander as well, sort of witbier-ish. Hint of funkiness, though not very saisony really. Nonetheless, enjoyable.

My favorite for the night, fragrant aroma, light clear golden color, no head or lacing, clean and fresh, some alcoholoic notes and grapes

Draught at The Pit. Light orange with a small fast fading head. Nose is pretty faint, some grass, yeast, light bready malt. Flavor is similar. Drinkable, but not much of a saison. Very dull and lacking character.

Sucked a few of these back at King’s, Raleigh, while immersed in the molten sounds of the mighty YOB. Cloudy pale gold pour with a very thick head and a pretty lively carbonation. Soft yeasts and bready malts in the nose, with doses of dry hops and spice. Full, smooth mouthfeel with just a bit of playfulness on the palate. Taste is dominated by the same yeasts and malts familiar from their tripel, and really comes across more like a biere de garde. But I thought it was okay overall.
