COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
California Common beer...This is a beer fermented with a lager yeast at ale temperatures. We use lots of Northern Brewer hops and rich Crystal malt to create this easy drinking ale. A great American beer style.

Served on draft at the restaurant. Pours a clear copper color with a medium frothy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy malts, floral hops and stone fruits. The taste is grain, caramel, stone fruits and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, high carbonation and quite refreshing. Nice.

5/22/11. Growler mlunger12. Clearish brown pour with a small tan head. Slightly fruity grainy aroma with nuts and caramel. Surprisingly robust flavor that reminds of nutty coffee, toasted grains, and more. Not bad.

Pour was a little darker than i was expecting. Thin short lived head with minimal lace. Another miner character flaw. Aroma is cereal. Flavor is biscuit, light hops and toffee.

Tap. Beer looked fine, but the smell and taste just turned me off. It reminded me of Dos Equis amber. Smelled and tasted like a mixture of garbage and marshmellows. After taste lasted till the next morning unfortunatly.

growler from taproom. Good aroma, sweet, tart, little fruit, biscuit, green apple. Clean brownish orange color, ok head, faded quick, no lace. litely bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, bitter clean finish. Good easy to drink brew. Flavor was slightly better than aroma. liitle fruitier than I remember a CC, but it’s been a while.....

Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Smells of biscuit, citrus and hops. Taste is bready with some bitterness - moderate carbonation.. not quite as much as I expect from the beer which is actually ok with me. I wouldn’t mind trying this one again.
