UPDATED: JUL 19, 2004 Sampled draugh at the brewpub (Kaunas location).
Drier than at Vilnius, and also more hoppy which makes it more balanced.

Old rating, draught at the brewpub (Vilnius location), 2004-07-13
Cloudy yellow, rich head. Sweet with soft mouthfeel. and buttery malt flavour. Gentle finish with low bitterness. (6/5/7/4/12)

Tap (Avilys, Kaunas)
3- Warmed baby milk aroma, Anna thinks that milk’s on the way up, not the way down. We agree on "mellow pineapple vomit".
3+ Hazy pale gold, tight creamy head.
5 Simple light malted barley. Fortunately no vomit in the taste. Only very gentle hopping.
3 Reasonably full palate for a light beer, thanks to being unfiltered. Finish does show some gentle hopping.
9 Not a bad beer, but the aroma is a real turn-off.

Hazy yellow color, good creamy white head, lace. Aroma of brewing cereals, light lemony hops. Light body. Light pale malty flavor with crisp carbonation and light citrusy hops. This is very similar to Katedros (ex-Avilys in Vilnius) Sviesusis.

Warning! Early amateur rating! At the brewpub in Vilnius. Cloudy gold beer. Has some regular lager aspects and a little citrussy wheat beer about it as well. Easy drinking and refreshing.

Draught at microbrewery. Nice malty start with malty/caramel finish and hoppy finish. Nice but overpriced. Avoid the pigs ears available at the same pub!

Draught, in brewpub. Fruity aroma with hoppy tones. Dark golden, like amber. Flavor is fruity, sweet light hoppy.

Draught, 4.5% at the brewpub. OK fruity hop aroma. Almost clear golden colour, sparkling. OK stable white head. The flavour is OK dusty, slightly bready. OK body, but watery aftertaste and a papery finish.

Veyr nice, strong taste and character. Not tiring, a little sweet and not sandy as many Baltic beers.

On tap at the Kaunas brew pub. Hazy blond body with a lasting white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with light citrusy and herbal hints. Well balanced fresh hoppy taste with malty and yeasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Well done.
