COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Battlefield is a special India Pale Ale that is as aggressive as it’s name: well-hopped and packed with rich maltiness. A stellar balance of crisp bitterness and floral aromas, achieved by a god-like blend of English and American hops. We like to think it puts a spin on what you know about IPAs. Try it with beef dishes or any grilled/blackened meats, shrimp or light fish, and for a snack pair with strong cheeses.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this. Orange with a white head. The aroma has some big pine notes as well as some orange and biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same with big pine and orange, low bitterness and sweet, biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange-brown with a thin rim of white head. Aroma of iced tea, citrus, caramel malt, tropical fruits. Flavor is malty, slightly earthy actually, with light citrus and bitter hops in the finish. Tastes better than the aroma suggests, luckily. Malt is well present- this is not a super hoppy IPA- it is also a very drinkable IPA. The iced tea persists as the beer warms, a slight flaw in the beer. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a clear pure gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma is pretty nice with earthy hops, hop spiciness and some grapefruit off in the background. The taste seems to be hop flavor forward with mango like tropical fruit and grapefruit and then it gets just a little more bitter to midway with growing citrus bitterness to tartness. But the hop flavor persists with a little bit of malt sweetness into the finish. Pretty solid IPA.
