My first ever kolsch as far as I’m aware. This was nice and fruity, with a smooth bitterness on the backend. Really well done. Easy drinking. Thanks HBJ!

Medium copper color, head vanishes immediately, but a bit of lacing left. Fruity, hoppy aroma, with good malt as well. Both appearance and aroma are more like a pale ale. Not displeasing, but neither is keolsch-like at all. Flavor also is more hoppy and has stronger malt than usual, though light and nicely fruity. A nice ale, barely keolsch-like. Like one with more fruit, more hops, and more malt than usual! Therefore actually a lot nicer than usual. I like it.

Pours a bit more cloudy than typical kolsch. Smells like a bit of peppery yeast and corn syrup...chemical alcohol and milk. Flavor is pretty much fruity (citrus and cream) and ricey...a little bit of juice to make it sweet...and definitely doesn’t have enough dryness. But then again...it doesn’t taste that much worse than all the kölsch I had in köln for a day and a half.

Can. Pours hazy orange yellow, off-white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, grass, funky yeast. Flavor is caramel, vanilla, malt, fizzles into sweetness at the end.
