3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
1st March 2014
Clear gold beer, big cream coloured head. Palate is dry and minerally crisp. Thin malt cream and a whisper of brandyish alcohol. Little orange peep. Dry finish brings a whisper of spice. Not bad apart from being a bit over dry.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy orange amber, good white head. Initially its full of orange, fruits and sweetness. There is noticeable alcohol but it the goes quite dank and almost like when a beer has sat for a few hours. It may be a one off as ive read good things.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle - a bit livelier than the other Axholmes I’ve had, deep cloudy brown body, thin frothy white head. Nose of rich citrus. malts and a little bit of booze in there. A strange sourness to the taste, spices, bitter oranges, sour candy. An odd mouthfeel, rather buttery in texture, the carbonation initially there soon goes. Very complex and hard to fathom out.
