Dark chocolate in color, you can see a wonderful reflection if you hold it up to the light. It is round and soft with the warm, sweet aroma of freshly roasted malted barley. A satisfying, malty taste, with coffee-ish tones and a hint of plummy fruitiness in the finish. Complex and beautifully balanced.

Bottled. Dartk reddish brown, mediumsized white head. Bready malt aroma with hints of fruits and roast. Flavour is complex, mainly smoky wet wood, but also hints of chocolate. Finish is dryish. Not much aftertaste, but very wellbalanced.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown, clear beer with a light brownish head. Lovely malty character with some light caramel- and toffee notes. Very clasical for it’s style, but a bit too heavily carbonated. 010502

Draught at Ayingers Speis und Trank, Munich
Dark chestnut color, clean, with compact head. Delicate caramel aroma. Lean mouthfeel, the dark caramel flavor is very good, a bit biscuity in the front an more roasty in the end; correct bitterness. Unfortunately, a bit metallic in the end.
