RomanW70 (177), Providence, Rhode Island, USA May 10, 2008 On tap at Track 84 in Warwick, RI. Pours cloudy gold in color woth a medium white head, Aroma of bananas, yeast, and light spiced. Flavor much the same. Some cereal grains in the finish, but in a really good way. A vey nice Weisse. SQNfan (231), Wheaton, Illinois, USA May 10, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy golden in color with aromas of yeast, banana and spice. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, soft and engaging. I must say...with the added lemon (after notes) the palate is brighter, more acidic (duh) and more quaffable on a hot day. While a more serious beer without the lemon, it is easier drinking. which can be a good thing given the circumstances. That said, overall, I prefer Hacker-Pschorr. punainen6 (10), Finland May 9, 2008 Bottle, hazy yellow color with a thick white head. Nice snappy bite on the front. Tastes of earth, yeast. bermod (22), Lappeenranta, Finland May 5, 2008 Wheat and banana aroma. Grainy wheat, banana and some spices in flavor. Light and quite refreshing. FatPhil (1650), Espoo, Finland May 5, 2008 500ml bottle (Mallaskukko, Turku)
Cloudy light orange, small head. Banana aroma, spicy and light. Simple soft light grainy body, and hoppiness in the mouth too, a bit like perfumed soap. Plenty of banana too. Aromatic fruity esters.
