Commercial Description:
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Pours a cloudy off lemon color with lots of white head, lacing, and lots of carb action. Banana, lemon, and bready aroma with some accomodating hops in the background. Very refreshing bready, slightly lemony, and banana flavor. The bready grain wheat flavor in the background has hints of vanilla and bubblegum. The palate is light to medium bodied with a fluffy crisp smoothness. Very drinkable I can drink this all day.

A- Pours a cloudy opaque golden yellow, head is white and creamy froth that is mostly diminishing, minimal lacing on the glass S- Nose is light and crisp, fruit and floral tones with banana, wheat, and spices standing out T- Initial taste is a prickly and dry banana sensation followed by ebbs of spice and citrus tones, some mild trace of bubblegum and wheat, finishes with a brief hint of dry bitterness M- Light-bodied beer, carbonation is lively, bubbly, and well-suited for this style D- Smooth and easy-to-drink hefe that has a bit more complexity and spice than others, this feels like a prototypical hefeweizen that captures the essence of the style very nicely without being to rigid/boring

Appearance: quite pale, straw; Enormous, textbook, white, fluffy head; moderate haze Aroma: Good complexity; Textbook banana and clove; moderate, well-balanced wheat along with subtle vanilla Flavor: Banana and clove are once again the strongest components, but not out of balance; the vanilla from the nose remains in the background Palate: Great, long finish! Great way to end a fundamentally sound beer!

Excellent wheat beer. Has all the notes it’s supposed to: fruity, yeasty, and that nice nose that good wheat beers have. If you like the style, this is a superb example: if you don’t like this beer, then you don’t like the style.

From the Jupiter brewfest. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is so nice and full of wheat, yeast, bread, fruit, spices and I really get som honey and gum notes. Flavor follows suit with banana bread, gum, spices, yeast, wheat. What a nice beer.

It’s pretty much a coin toss between this one and Weihenstephaner as my fav Hefeweizen. Beautiful appearance in the glass. Very pronounced in both flavour and smell. Wheat, yeast, malts, banana, cloves, bubblegum, honey, citrus, lemon. Excelllent is every aspect.
