COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

A very good beer. I tried a lot of different hefeweizens over the summer and this was the absolute best.

On tap at the Huber Haus. Pours an amazing cloudy light gold with a cloud-like white head. Aroma is delightfully fruity and banana-like. Flavor is at first overwhelming banana esters, followed by a yeasty bolus. Slightly tart at the finish, but mostly a smooth balanced wheat beer.

Medium white head. Yellowish opague color. Sweet with a slighthly bitter signature.

Large foaming white head. Very noticeable aroma. Foggy off piss yellow color. Tartness is noticable but not overpowering. OK but not going to buy again.

Hefeweizens are typically a boring breed, but this one is as good as any gets. Pours a murky golden yellow with lots of thin fizzy white head. Smells of wheat, honey, citrus, and spice. Taste is more of the same. Nice amount of spice and banana esters but without being too overbearing like many Hefe’s are. Mildy sweet and thinner bodied. Very refreshing.

500mL bottle. Label is slightly different than that in the picture. A hazy gold pour with a big, fluffy off-white head. Lots of bananas, yeasty tanginess, wheat and some clove in the aroma. The long-lasting head provides some creaminess to this otherwise crisp beer. Starts off lemony with a yeasty tang. Finishes with a delightful wheaty/banana aftertaste. More banana present than other hefes. Light and refreshing. Great beer.

Nothing compared to the celebrator...but a fine beer none-the-less, just lacks pizzazz and i like hefeweizens, but when I described hefeweizens to those- not-yet-one-of-us and then present this as the example--they thought I was crazy----no flowers, no fruit, no pepper but extra dry. Bad to form but good to drink.

I was totally unimpressed with this brew. I am starting to despise German Hefeweizens. It made me feel like I had a cold. Odd taste to it. Not impressed.

Pours yellow with a white head. Has a strong smell of banana. The taste has a hint of banana and is nicely carbonated.

Robe blonde très voilée. Arômes de bananes, de levures, de citron. Saveurs de bananes et de levure. Bon corps.
