3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 19, 2004 [on tap] Deep golden and hazy, with a tall and persistent head. Aroma is strongly yeasty, moderately citric and hoppy. There's a good malt texture here, but the beer doesn't get too sweet for this. Dry and slightly sour. Low to medium body. Moderately bitter finish. [re-rate, bottled:] The bottled version is equally great; crisp and full of taste. Better than Weihenstephaner. I'm slightly raising my rating.

This beer was quite spritzy with a light quenching acidity to it. There was some fruitiness and it was appropriately hazy.

Great lemon-yellow color with a lots of bubbles and head. The aroma is sweet and light with bold wheat scents and vanilla. The flavor is lighter, and maybe even a little watery. The finish is very smooth. Excellent beer!

Hazy golden blond with a strong pillowy white head. Lovely yeasty and malty nose. Great stuff! Some spice and citrus hiding in the background as well. Wonderful taste! Refreshing blend of spices, citrus fruit, and yeast. Finishes very smooth. Highly recommneded!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yeasty, malty aroma on a pale amber beer. Citrusy, yeasty flavor, and all around a pretty good wheat beer.

Quite good it is not a stand out weiss beer but it is not a bad one either. The rating is high as I love this style of beer so even its middling offers are better to me then most. Smooth and quite nice.

Complex fruity-spicy aroma. No thick creamy head as advertised, however. Decent taste, but not my favorite hefe.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A cloudy, pale yellow color with a thick creamy head. Some lacing. After reading the description, honey describes the color of the body perfectly.
Very spicy and yeasty aroma with a nice wheat-lemon undertone.
Delicate flavors. Wheat, lemon, pepper, and yeast. A slight fruit taste at the end. Very balanced yet subdued beer.
Carbonated like champagne and smooth. This is a beer that helps you in consuming it!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2008 Nice carbonated feed to the head in this banana colored wheat beer. Beautiful aroma of fresh banana breeze. but the flavor was blase--a light mixture of banana and wheat--slightly bland, and a dissapointment.
Re-rated: Golden wheat decent head. Nice whiff of yeast, banana, clove, and wheat. A good standard for the style. Body could use more effervescence. Overall 13-14.
