COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Pours fizzy in a hazy yellow. Has a wheat and lemon aroma. Taste is sweet with citrus (lemons and lime) and heavy wheat. A smooth flavor and refreshing aftertaste.

On tap at Brews Brothers. Lemon sweet aroma. Color of straw and honey. First thing I taste is banana. Then I can get the nice honey and lemon taste. Like a nice tea. Not usually into this style, but this is pretty good. Maybe its the American version of it I don’t like.

One of the first beers I fell in love with. A great creamy head with notes of flowers and lemon and vanilla and the beer itself is so smooth with a hint of citrus and tons of bready wheatiness. Just a damn fine example of a damn fine style.

Fruity aroma, lots of spice. Cloudy banana pour. Good head and retention. More full bodied than most in the class. Drinkable and tasty.

Draft at Moriartys. Cloudy amber pour. Large fizzy head. Not my style of beer at all. Yet, I appreciate that here meets admirably the style of a proper Hefeweizen in the proper German tradition. Bready, citrusy and yeasty. Lemon zested Challah bread. Light tangerine marmalade. Dry finish. Aroma I’d a bit ascetic. Ultimately maybe a lemon shortbread with an eggy vanilla meringue top. Nicely complex.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small long lasting white head and little lace. Aroma is bready wheat, coriander, banana, and light citrus. Flavour is bready wheat, mildly spicy(coriander I believe, faint banana, and some citrus. Great example of a German hefe!

Bottle pours cloudy yellow with white head. Aromas of bananas and fruits and yeast. Similar flavors. Pleasantly sweet with mildly sweet finish. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Delicious and wonderful.

50cl brown bottle 5.1%abv, pours an off white tart-creamy head, hazy deep yellow body. Nice interesting aroma of wheat malts, spices, clover. Tastes spicy wheat alt, clover, ripe banana. Just slightly watery to palate. Finishes fruity, malts, berries, cloves, spices. Overall good. (B@Alko Tornio Finland, enjoyed@hotel room Luleå Sweden Feb7th2014)

Another high quality beer from Ayinger. Not at all foamy. Amateur, not aristocrat appearance. Very good and smooth taste. Fruity and yeast. Brewed with love. If you feel unsure what to have tonight, choose this, doesn’t let you down.
