Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Another high quality beer from Ayinger. Not at all foamy. Amateur, not aristocrat appearance. Very good and smooth taste. Fruity and yeast. Brewed with love. If you feel unsure what to have tonight, choose this, doesn’t let you down.

500 ml bottle. Aroma consists of banana, wheat cracker, clove--very nice. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head with excellent retention. Taste is sweet and spicy with all aroma descriptors firm; classic German Hefe flavors. Fine carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Excellent, top of its class.

Pours a pale gold. Smells of yeast, wheat, and light fruity smell. Tastes of wheat with a hint of bananas. Almost light bodied and very easy to drink.

Effectivement elle est bien décrite : légère, fines bulles, très bon arôme (à mon goût en tout cas) et avec une toute petite amertume sur la fin.

330 mL bottle at a tasting on January 13. The pour is a cloudy amber-ish gold with a white head and a decent lace. I love the aroma on this baby. It’s extraordinarily lemony. There are also sweet and floral notes with it. The flavor is also very citrusy, followed up with a little banana added in there. The mouth feel is great. It’s nicely carbonated, with a great aftertaste. I could drink this one all day!

Bottle 0,50L. Hazy yellow colour, lively visible carbonation and large, frothy, white head that sits down in a minute. Aroma of banana, light bread, coriander, lemon and grassy hops. Taste starts crispy, light sweet with banana note and finish light acidic. Medium to light body, texture somewhere between watery and oily, lively carbonation.

Bottle poured at New Bohemia. Pint glass. Light golden appearance with a small head. Smell is not very pleasant...maybe metallic. Taste is actually more along the lines of a filtered variety. Some citrus and plenty if banana. Light and refreshing bringing to mind a much warmer environment. Not great but I?d sample again.
