4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap in 17oz glass at 1st draft in Chicago. Hazy unfiltered gold with thick white head. Smells of citrus and maybe vanilla. Yeasty citrus, really nice body. Creamy and pleasant to drink. Great beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Lemon coloured pour, just a touch of haziness. Tall fizzy white head that reduces to a thin white skin of foam on top. Lemony aroma, yeast as well. Taste is similar. Medium to light body with lively carbonation. Nice dry finish, almost sour.

Very nice Hefe with fruity smooth taste with no bitter hoppy taste and a lemon sparkling champagne feel in the mouth.

Notes from Family Hefe Tasting. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is fruity and kinda blah. Taste follows. 12.6 Easily voted best bottlecap.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
En bra balanserad weissbier. Skummar som den ska. Inte för söt. Ganska lite jästfällning, men bra ändå.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Big fast head, no lace. Hazy honey yellow. Very crispy, citric palate. Fruity herbal aroma. Citric hoppy dry grainy taste. Very refreshing, one of the of the kind. Thank you, ancestors, for this culture.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a deep golden crystal color. Head is white and starts off at 1.5 fingers then fades to a 1/4 film that stays. Aroma is a nice even citrus and clove with vanilla and banana hints. Some maltiness and dough linger on the scent as well. A nice tart citrus with balanced clove/banana on the front but nothing too intense (which is a good thing) and finishes with a nice lightly bitter but clove vanilla taste and leaves the mouth dry but not too dry. Wheat hints throughout with enough carbonation to make it fizzy but good. This is how a Weizen beer is supposed to be and Ayinger is a master of the craft. It can be during a hot day or a cold night and I could drink this forever.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Haven’t really had a lot of this kind of beer, but i really liked it. It has murky golden colour and average white head. Slight sour taste that is really pleasant, kind of hints on banana. Pleasant citrusy finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Cloudy yellow body, medium head (no "Alps", more like a snowy flatland if you insist on using geographical terms). Aroma has bread, banana and yeast. Sweet yeasty taste with more banana. I really don’t get "complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne". A standard German Hefeweizen but nothing really screams "Top 4" in the style.
