Jul 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a large rocky white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Aroma of wheat, citrus, bananas, yeast, vanilla, and clove. Taste is the same as aroma with a mild spicy tart finish. Medium mouthfeel thats slightly creamy and well carbonated. A very well done Hefeweizen perfect for a hot Florida Summer day.

Jul 18, 2007 Foggy, golden appearance with a large, fluffy,white head and decent lacing. Wheaty aroma accented with banana, clove and lemon. Yeasty, wheaty, fruity, mildly sweet flavors; muted hops; some spicyness and tartness in the aftertaste. Creamy, medium-bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Smooth, fruity, long lasting finish.

Jul 16, 2007 From a bottle pours a slightly hazy light amber color with lots of fluffy head. Very light flavor not at all overpowering, very refreshing.

Bevuta al Black Sheep a Brescia, pagata 4.50; non sapevo che mi avrebbero portato perché nella lista c’era scritto solo Weisse.

Jul 15, 2007 This is a superb hefe! Absolutely perfect for the blazing summer days. Had on draught at Blues BBQ in Charleston, WV. Beautiful cloudy opaque deep straw pour. It has a 3-finger head that lasts for great retention and leaves frothy lace. Sweet banana, some vanilla and slight clove to the nose. There are mounds of banana and wheat flavors, with the finish really drawing in strong cloves. The wheat, fruit and spice integration is almost unparalleled. The carbonation level mixes with a silky mouthfeel to bring a perfectly contrasting zest to the palate. For the dog days of summer, this may be one of the world’s best German hefe’s. (Formerly, this was my favorite style, and I’ve certainly had my share of them. This offering is "par excellence".) Prost!

Jul 8, 2007 500ml vom fass at Hotel Schlierbergalm. Hazy orange body. Thin, white foamy head. Fresh fruity aroma. Yeast up front followed by a touch of cloves and banana. Moderate to thin body. Very easy to drink. Thirst quenching after a up mountain walk (19.06.2007).
