Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Bottle 0,50L. Hazy yellow colour, lively visible carbonation and large, frothy, white head that sits down in a minute. Aroma of banana, light bread, coriander, lemon and grassy hops. Taste starts crispy, light sweet with banana note and finish light acidic. Medium to light body, texture somewhere between watery and oily, lively carbonation.

Bottle poured at New Bohemia. Pint glass. Light golden appearance with a small head. Smell is not very pleasant...maybe metallic. Taste is actually more along the lines of a filtered variety. Some citrus and plenty if banana. Light and refreshing bringing to mind a much warmer environment. Not great but I?d sample again.

Hazy golden, small disappearing head. Big wheat nose with hints of lemon and yeast. Taste goes much the same over champagne bubbles, wheat yeast sticks out a bit. Light body, refreshing

(Backlog) Cloudy look, golden in color, and it has a a nice white head. The smell is yeast, wheat, lemon, citrus, and malts. The taste is about the same as the smell with a little floral thrown in .

Wife ordered this draft at Frisco Taphouse in Columbia, MD. Served in a pint glass, cloudy orangey-yellow color with white head. Aroma of wheat sweetness, heavy yeast (lemon, banana, clove) and slight herbal note. Taste is the aroma adding light notes of grass, bread and very slight vanilla. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, soft with clean finish. Very tasty hefe, my wife chose the better beer that night.

Cloudy orange with a huge head. Aroma is yeasty with champagne, a hint of vanilla and spices, a bit cellary tone though. Taste is citrus, lemon, bananas, yeast, champagne. Smooth medium mouthfeel, nice balanced carbonation. Finishes smooth with no bitterness. Very good indeed!
