Strong, yeasty, classic hefeweizen aroma: orange, lemon, bubblegum, cinnamon. Smells great! Pours a cloudy gold with a large amount of white head and a small amount of suspended particulate. Seems to be even cloudier than a typical hefeweizen. Produces limited lacing. Flavor of bubblegum and skittles as well as sour citrus. Disappointing lack of complexity given the wonderful aroma. Tart. There is a slight touch of bitterness that I would not expect from a hefeweizen in the finish. Little aftertaste. Light to medium body. Lively in the palate. Easy to drink. A good example of a style that is perfect for a sunny late spring or summer day. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2007 Deep golden color, hazy but not quite cloudy, good initial head that dissipates quickly, lasting carbonation. aroma is spice/banana. Flavor retains the spice and banana notes, and adds citrus, more tart than bitter. Very good overall for a wheat beer.

I didn’t have many notes for this beer other than the aroma was bready and had hints of banana, apple and pear. Nicely carbonated with a foamy head. light body. classic hef TheBeerBaron (219), Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 22, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy pale straw color, high white head and mild carbonation. Buttery wheat aroma with slight lemon zest, just a hint of hops detected. Tingly plate with a sticky filmy feel. The filmy feel coincides with a soapy flavor. A lemony soap taste kind of like the dish detergent my wife uses. Germans might love to tout the the purity law, but quality control was lacking on this weisse. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2007 Nose of cereal & grain, subtle fruit. Pours a cloudy straw. The nice cascade resolves itself into a super colossal white uber creamy and mega stiff head that is fully lasting, and leaves light lace. The light flavor is malty but not overly so. The light body is very creamy and soft. malrubius (977), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Pours beautiful pale, cloudy yellow/orange with lasting dense white head. Aroma is citrus, banana and vanilla-like sweetness. Very refreshing and assertive flavors of banana, vanilla, tartness, and spiciness. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Excellent example of this style IMHO.
Had this again 4/11/08. Deserves more ovall points. Awesome. PilsnerPeter (2612), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2007 Tap: Lively hazy yellowish pour with an initially large frothy white head. Very yeasty aroma with wheat hints. Sharp carbonation, with a nice wheat malt character, and some sweet banana notes. A decent Hefeweizen; good session beer.
