RollinHard (748), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Apr 26, 2007 Pours a pale straw yellow, cloudy, dissipating head. Aroma is surprisingly vanilla-y like the description says. Downplayed spices and citrus, but it’s there. Taste mingles with breadlike flavors, vanilla, lemon, and light cloves. Finishes a little tangy at first, then dries out and almost disappears. Interesting and very drinkable. Fairly light on the palate, but that’s expected. A good hefeweizen, but doesn’t pack quite the punch that I want. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 26, 2007 Sample from 50 cL bottle. Pours unfiltered yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is wheat and slight yeast. Flavour of bananas and yeast. Wheat. Finish is soft yeast. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. Average off-white fizzy head that mostly lasted. Good lacing. Cloudy orange color. Banana, yeast, clove, coriander, citrus and wheat. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Flavor was light sweet with hint of acidic from the citrus notes. Sweet finish. dmradus (225), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 22, 2007 Bottle at Falstaff, Paris. A hazy gold studded with rising carbonation, perched atop is a huge foamy white head. Aroma is wheat upfront, as well as slight banana, floral, and spice character. Taste brings up bubblegum, banana, a lingering sour wheat character. Has an impressive and hard to place varying sweet/sour after that was enjoyable. High carbonation and pleasing on the palate. fauskie (11), USA Apr 18, 2007 Banana was extremely prominent throughout the beer and the head retention was ridiculously long. I enjoyed this beer very much but I think after two it would become too sweet. bobaidan (358), Farmington, Connecticut, USA Apr 18, 2007 Pours cloudy light amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is bread, banana and vanilla, kind of reminds me of a breakfast cereal.. Flavor is creamy, with banana bread and citrus. A very flavorful, but light beer. I like it a lot. davidflores99 (225), Long Beach, California, USA Apr 16, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. I could smell some banana, spices and wheat. Flavor was a little sweet and wheaty. Good Hefeweizen. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 14, 2007 A good wheat beer, very satisfying. Cloves in aroma, orange in taste as well as lemon. Good mouthfeel though not the most outstanding I have had for a hefe, banana mouthfeel with little of the latter’s taste.
