Commercial Description:
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

From a 500 ml bottle purchased at "Keller’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This one pours a golden brew with a long lasting hite head of foam and a distinctly bananas-clove-straw aroma.Tastewise, YES, THIS IS THE REAL STUFF! A true German hefe, and a damn good one!

Bottle. Aroma has light notes of straw, moderate notes of grass and lemon (no I didn’t add any), barnyard for the yeast and a bright corriander overtone. The massive rocky head was pure white and fully lasting, and the excellent lacing reminded me of melting snow on a slate roof. the golden color added to the spring-time feeling of this beer. Flavor was slightly tart with a bitter finish. It has a medium body with a creamy texture, lively carbonation and a moderately astringent finish.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a weizen glass, cloudy golden with a big white head. Aroma was of yeast, cloves and banana. The taste was subtle with hints of cloves, citrus and banana and a bready nose. This is a well done wheat beer along the lines of Weihenstephaner. I still prefer the heavier clove taste of Paulaner, but if that is not your thing this is a very fine beer.

Very good Hefeweizen! It had great flavors that really complimented my brisket, easy drinking and smooth. I would get this again anytime.
