Commercial Description:
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

(500 ml bottle) Pours cloudy pale grayish yellow with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is wheaty, citrusy. Poor spotty lacing. Mouthfeel full, pretty smooth. Flavor is wheaty malt (with the glue-like flavor quality I associate with wheats) with a citrusy tang finish. Nice, refreshing.

Bottle. Poured a very cloudy gold with a thick foamy white head that left little lacing, but floated on the beer as a considerable head. A sour lemony smell veiled a more hidden yeasty sweetness in the background. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a citrus tang to it. The finish is mildly bitter that does not linger but leaves your mouth watering with its tartness. Crisp, clean, and refreshing, thoroughly enjoyable.

500ml bottle. Poured murky pineapple gold into a footed pilsner glass with a rapidly diminishing 3-finger white head. Very nice color. The nose is almost all DMS with a little bit of sweet grain and a faind whiff of banana in the background. Sweet graininess at first sip immediately overcome by strong DMS. Medium-long finish with banana and sweetness, a little butter. Very refreshing with a crisp, lively mouthfiel. Thankfully, the DMS flavor fades rapidly after the first sip. Overall, not as good as Weihenstephaner but better than any other bottled hefeweizen I’ve yet tried.

[bottle] Pours a golden yellow color. Head fades to a ring around the glass. Not bad, fruity, mildly spicy. Finishes nice and smooth.

Nice fluffy head with a golden, cloudy body. Tasted fruit & citrus above everything, with it all being underlined by thick yeast/wheat taste. Very nice overall.

I couldn’t really get into this. It seemed a little watery and lacking in flavor. A little sour and some banana and bubble gum but altogething not that great.

I had this at a hefeweizen tasting at Bevmo. Beautiful banana flavor with lemon notes along w/ clove spiciness in both the flavor and the nose. This is a very nice brew.
