COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Cloudy pale golden color with large creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, banana, yeast and herbs. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, following is refreshing citric acidity with spicy mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and lively natural carbonation in palate. Very drinkable, one of the best hefeweizens...

Excellent beer. I have seen this in stores and have never gotten it and today was like "I like beer, I like heffeweizen..why am I not trying this" Best choice of the day. Pours hazy as Los Angeles and right off the bat we have banana, and other soft fruits followed by a pleasant sweetness. Beautiful pillowy head. Taste is unreal. Blast of banana, fruit, and a spiciness that follows. Tastes wonderful. Excellent beer, can’t go wrong this one. Prost!

Dorée avec une grande mousse blanche. L’arôme du blé, banane, levure et du pain fraîche. Le goût resemble l’arôme, avec une finition sec et carbonation moyenne. Très bonne.

Smells nice. Light and fruity. Greasy cloudy appearance. A very nice citrus flavor and quite wheaty for my taste yet it’s still excellent. Easy to drink.

Appearance: this beer pours with a huge head that takes a while to settle down, even when it's settled it's very dense, the beer is a hazy gold color, perhaps a hint darker than the average hefe Aroma: banana, bread, yeast, lemon, tang, spicy, smells really good Taste: banana, bread, lemon, the faintest hint of hops on the finish if you really concentrate, Palate: tons of froth, soft carbonation to me despite what the bottle says, leaves mouth a bit dry, minimal aftertaste Overall: this is an amazing hefeweizen, delicious, very aromatic, and looks good in the glass, pleasantly surprised ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I always get excited about opening up a Ayinger beer. Cloudy lemon-honey color pour with a frothy white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is banana pudding, clove, slightly floral, hints of citrus. Peppery and slightly sour on the front, followed strongly by banana, sugar cookie, and clove. Delicious. This beer is not going to last long. Makes me wish I would have bought more. Definitely one of the best if not the best Hefe Weizen I’ve tried.

Pours fizzy in a hazy yellow. Has a wheat and lemon aroma. Taste is sweet with citrus (lemons and lime) and heavy wheat. A smooth flavor and refreshing aftertaste.

On tap at Brews Brothers. Lemon sweet aroma. Color of straw and honey. First thing I taste is banana. Then I can get the nice honey and lemon taste. Like a nice tea. Not usually into this style, but this is pretty good. Maybe its the American version of it I don’t like.

One of the first beers I fell in love with. A great creamy head with notes of flowers and lemon and vanilla and the beer itself is so smooth with a hint of citrus and tons of bready wheatiness. Just a damn fine example of a damn fine style.
