Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Strawberry blonde unfiltered cloudy brew. Fine lacing of tiny bubbles. First aromas are fresh peeled green banana, grapefruit and some spicy notes. Banana bread taste upfront and in the late aftertaste. Mild pepper tinge with lemon and bright malty sour sweetness. Fairly crisp through and through. Balanced with a pleasing effervescence which leaves with a sparkling finish.

0.5 l bottle from biernavigatie, bottled in May 2015. Hazy, straw yellow with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-yeasty aroma of banana, citrus, vanilla and some clove. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of banana, vanilla, citrus and hints of clove, followed by a short, minimally sourish, yeasty and chalky finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very aromatic, harmonic and refreshing. Not that spicy but rather fruity. Good one!

Butelka.

From bottle to Weiss glass. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a white foamy head. Nose is lemon, orange, vanilla, coriander, banana, yeast. Taste is sweet, light bodied. Finishes so smooth, almost foams in the mouth. Great beer for this style

Bottle from The Beer Shoppe, Yakima. Color: Hazy, yellow-orange. Aroma: Green banana, coriander, lemon, yeast. Palate: Flavor: Banana, coriander, grain, yeast, floral and citrus. Clean, long banana, yeast and spice finish. Comment: Carbonation lifts and enhances the flavor. Nuanced and complex.

From a well kept imported bottle, this Hefeweizen pours a bright hazy golden color, with an impressive head that lasted the entire pint. Aroma is soft and floral, truly reminiscent of the mountain breeze of southern Germany, if I may, haha. Very enjoyable notes of sweet wheat, light banana, and a hint of grassy floral (hoppy?) notes in the flavor. Light bodied, pleasantly less filling than other hefeweizens. More of a delicate flavor overall, but quite the effort to detect the subtleties to this classic brew.
