Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Another from the list of most ratings and available to me. Nice light fruit, lemon flavors and aromas. Hay flavors running throughout. Wheaty toasty grain. Banana little bit of spice.

Lemon is strong with this one. I mean, there is the typical banana / clove one would expect, but then it is different with some citrus. Here is what Superspak says " 500 ml bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours super cloudy golden amber color with a nice 2-3 finger dense off white head with great retention that redueces to a thick cap that lingers. Some spotty lacing on the glass, with plenty of carbonation streaming up as expected. Aromas of huge banana, orange, pepper, clove, biscuit, grass, and herbal spiciness. Fanatastic and well balanced aromas, with good strength. Taste of lemon, banana, clove, pepper, orange, breadiness, wheat, grass, and herbal spiciness. Lingering notes of citrus, banana, clove, and spiciness on the finish for a bit. Great balance of flavors overall, with no cloying flavors as expected. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Incredibly smooth and drinkable; this will be in my summer fridge. Overall this is a fantastic, well balanced, and super drinkable hefeweizen; with some pretty big flavor. I would get this again, it is priced well. " He gave it a 4.3.

"this one’s definitely got the whole banana-clove thing going one. Refreshing and aromatic. You can taste the wheat. quite good for the style, but not "blow your socks off"."

Pours hazy golden with a nice head. Aroma is banana and clove. Flavor is perfect hefe, not too malty, nice bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Esperava muito mais dessa cerveja. Pela fama que tem esperava algo mais saboroso. Boa aparência, mas sabor não me agradou muito

bottle. light yellow with a hazed body and a lasting white head. fruity banana nose. sweet fruit gives way to a light lingering pepper. just a bit of floral notes in there to keep it in check. banana bread and light apple notes with just a bit of candy in there.

the aroma of citrus and banana with shades of spices and yeast... the taste is malty and fruity with notes of dry wine, rather spicy... dry spicy aftertaste... very good hefeweizen...

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2014 Bottle from Liviko Alcostore in Tallinn harbour (€ 2,19). Pours a hazy pale yellow with a big off-white top that drops slowly. Nose - nice wheat with vanilla-banana-lemon (biscuits). Taste equally nice, accompanied by the rather crisp carbonation. Somewhat sticky texture, dry finish. Body on the lighter side of medium. Pretty good. (But also boring and conventional.)

The body has an orange/yellow color with a cloudy haze and some visible carbonation. On top I got a thick and creamy off white head. It is long lasting and makes slick lace ring which slowly slide down the sides of the glass. The aroma has notes of sweet bubble gum and banana peel with just a light touch of wheat malt. The flavor is not as sweet as the aroma foreshadowed. Tangy wheat meets the tongue first with a light clove banana yeast notes following. A touch of citrus and spicy/leafy hops leads into the finish which is crisp and fairly dry. The firm medium body has plenty of active carbonation give it a lively snappy texture.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Taste banana, sweet, wheat, fruit. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
