Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

1/2 liter bottle, 4 weeks dron rackin - I’ve sampled this, and other Ayinger beers, at beer festivals and tastings before and I’d rate this small independent Bavarian craft brewer to be one of the best in Germany (which is saying a lot) at consistently hitting the mark and exceeding the parameters and characteristics of the Teutonic beer styles. This particular Hefeweiss has all the bubble-gum, clove and banana esters and phenols in spades and the body and character of the beer is fairly robust for a wheat ale. Big fluffy cap, big flavour - deep fruitiness, some spice, low on noble hoppin but a nice malt mixture is evident without being cloying -, natural sparkling effervescence, quenching with a dry finish – a superior Hefe, if not the best.

Yeasty and floral scent. Cloudy yellow / golden appearance. Very little lacing in a pint glass. Almost no head. Banana notes, and floral hint. Very smooth mouth feel, slightly sweet aftertaste.

Weiss clara, cremosa, com nariz floral e frutado, sem muita exuberância. Na boca é bastante seca, com amargor leve e longa persistência. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It is a kind of weizen bock but it is a nice mix between the bitterness and the banana and the fact that it is a nice sensation of sparkling. The colour is typical a yellow colour and trouble and we can say "onctueux". It is a nice beer when the weather is hot.

Draft at Brouwer’s. Glowing cloudy gold with creamy white head. Steady stream of bubbles from the bottom. Lovely bright aroma with all the good stuff - clove, pepper, banana laffy taffy. Moderately sweet, minimal bitterness. Short finish. So pleasant and balanced on this hot summer afternoon. Overall: Goddamn.

50cl bottle. Beautifully hazy yellow ale topped by a immensely creamy, white head. Banana, vanilla, light lemony tard, creamy wheat. Creamy mouthfeel, medium but filling body, medium carbonation.

Classic appearance as expected. Cloudy yellow gold, fluffy , creamy white head. Wheat. Banana. Vanilla. Light spice. A little spritzy, some creaminess, and a hint of tart. I love a good authentic, classic German hefe. What beer is all about.

Beautiful rich yeast, citrus, high quality beer aroma. Taste follows suit. Rich, a little creamy, just enough, beautiful beer.

Sweet smell, banana and wheat. It looks like, and is, a rather light beer. There is a definite citric, refreshing taste to it, almost as if it had a small percentage of lemonade. In other aspects it is much like other good bavarian wheat beets. The head is dense and lively. Not much of an aftertaste. Overall a quality beer.

Bottle into hefe glass. Nose is vanilla touched banana, yeast and citrus. Hazy golden pour, nice white but fast dissipating head. In the mouth, full wheat feel, touch of banana, fine carbonation. Fairly quick finish. Exemplary version of the style, summer in a glass.
