Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

Took a bit to find my Weizen but it was worth it, what an appealing looking beery. Hazy golden yellow with a very noisy frothy head. Really strong citrus, cinnamon and chive in the nose. Very mellow with a complex pallet. Waves of taste. Very well balanced. Now this is what a Hefeweizen should taste like. Refreshing, wet and easy to drink. Not nearly as spicy as the nose would indicate. Really smooth. Citrus, a touch of chives and a hint of Banana. Wishing I had bought more than one of this. Fantastic.

Tap @ Jagersrust. Troebel goudgeel, mooie plakkraag. Ruikt gistig, banaan, kruidnagel. Smaakt idem, met een wijnbalsmaakje erbij. Vrij zurig en waterig ook. Niet echt mijn bierstijl.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head. Nice wheat aroma. Crisp taste with a hint of cloves. Typical classic style Hefeweizen. Very refreshing and enjyable.

Lemon, banana, looks like the color reflects the flavours. The dryness, high carbonation and low ABV make it very refreshing and drinkable, but maybe the general taste it’s a bit too gentle for me.

Festői búzasör szalmasárga színben, mely teltséget sugároz, illatai pedig haraphatóvá teszik a levegőt, vaníliás, enyhén banános, kissé fanyar és citromos aromákat árasztanak. Maga a műfaj bár nem tartogat mérhetetlen izgalmakat, a jól sikerült alkotások mennyei mannaként szolgálhatnak a melegebb idő beköszöntével. S mivel ez esetben igencsak jól összerakott italról van szó, valóban remek élményt nyújtanak egyszerre frissítő és telt kortyai, melyek jólesően savanykásak, mélyek és gazdagok, krémes gabonaturmixot idézőek.

Bottle from BevMo! in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is vanilla, almonds, cloves, fruit, spiced breads, banana bread, some floral. Taste is creamy, one of the few vanilla / almondy beers that tastes balanced to me. Lots of different floral, spiced breads but smooths out in the finish. Maybe my favorite Hefeweizen thus far.

Yeaty aroma, spicy & cloves. Grainy sweetness in aroma, too. Straw/plae yellow and opaque. Big white head. Cloves dominate the flavor, with bready, grainy sweetness too.

The smell is very fruity with not really any clear ones in the front. Maybe lemon. There is a hint of yeasty gassiness that is kind of odd. The flavor is light and lemon-heavy. It has a tartness that follows into some clove into a wheaty aftertaste with some lemon tartness.

0.33l bottle. Hazy yellow body, white head. Aroma of bread, banana, cloves and toffee. Taste of banana, bread, lemon zest, peach and some floral hops. Very nice weizen, but to be honest based on how highly it’s rated, I expected a bit more.
