COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

On tap. Poured a darker and cloudy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of stronger cloves, bananas and citrus. Tastes of wheat, bananas, lemons and lighter spices.

Test vom 13.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,8,8,7,8

Cloudy and golden like a wheat beer should be with a large white puffy head. Lots of banana and clove aroma as well as flavor. The body has a nice balance of malt and goes down pretty smoothly.

Pale gold with a greenish shine; good whitish head. Cloves, some banana and faint citrus - AND wheat, very obvious. Sweetish-fruity taste, and a peppery, spicey finish. Well-bodied, but a bit fizzy. A bit basic Weizen, I’d expect better from them.

Pours with a smallish, white head covering a cloudy, honey body. Aroma is of a clove forward Hefe. Food Lacing. Clove spicey taste with some banana in the background. A bit too fizzy of a mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2008 Soft cloudy yellow with a very decent. Very mild spicy aroma of lemons and coriander... the vanilla that it describes is barely noticeable, but nice. The spiced flavors mix well with the carbonation, and the finish is light and crisp. A good one indeed.

Cloudy light orange, small head. Banana aroma, spicy and light. Simple soft light grainy body, and hoppiness in the mouth too, a bit like perfumed soap. Plenty of banana too. Aromatic fruity esters.

A good wheat beer, very satisfying. Cloves in aroma, orange in taste as well as lemon. Good mouthfeel though not the most outstanding I have had for a hefe, banana mouthfeel with little of the latter’s taste.
