Huge aroma of citrus and tropical fruit...even notes of cheeries, slightly sour. Perfect champagne gold color. Taste is fruits and honey, lingers smooth and long. Somewhat weaker taste than that perfect aroma. Late tingle on the palate of spice, but very subtle. Almost perfect hefe, just lacks a bit of yeastiness for my taste. Smells of yeasty sourdough bread, borderline sour milk. Also smells slightly of a banana/orange juxtapose. Taste is crisp and refreshing. Sweet vanilla and cloves. Caramel nodes and traces of some citrus elements, namely lemon and orange. Great carbonation balance. Creamy head stays afloat throughout the entire beer, which contributes to an undisputedly awesome feel on the palate. This is by far the creamiest hefe I’ve ever had. Damn, I’ve had a great streak with hefes as of late. ambergirl (3), Huntsville, Alabama, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 27, 2005 In 90 degree Alabama summer heat, this is definitely one of my most craved beers. georgekessel (68), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

This beer had such nice citrus and bananna flavors it was almost like drinking a Bannana-weiss. The only problem is the complexity prevents me from making this my everyday beer. scrizzz (1355), kirkland, Washington, USA

Poured cloudy with a thick white head. Flavor was thick on the wheat side with a touch of citrus. If I had another, I would be drinking it now! reskakis (3), Newark, Delaware, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 24, 2009 500ml bottle.
