COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

A very rich and malty brew. Terrific head and outstanding color. Caramel flavor is balanced well with chocolate and hops bitterness. Very smooth. My only complaint is when it was gone.

Always returns to #1 with me after I can’t get it for awhile. Excellent in all respects.

Possibly the best double bock there is. I will keep a higher rating open in-case i find one better. Is $2.50 worth it for a 11oz bottle - you bet it is !

Huge creamy beige head. Big complex malty aroma. Nice flavor balance between malty sweetness and chocolate malt/hops. This is about the best Bock available!

Chocolate aroma and flavor make this brew more of a Weinachtsbock (Christmas Bock) -- best enjoyed during the Christmas season. And the plastic goat is cute, too. Visit the Ayinger Ausschank at the Münchner Platzl, right by the Hofbräuhaus, to get this at its freshest.

A good doppelbock with sweetish taste balanced by the alcohol tint. All the ingredients support each other in a way I’ve seldom seen. Very pleasant flavor and palate, strongly recommended as a beer to enjoy on its own.

Coffee-Ovaltine aroma. Smooth, creamy, malty, stout-like taste. Finishes dry with a slight hop bitterness and alcohol twang. This is an extremely well balanced beer; it has great flavor and complexity without any overpowering sweetness, hoppiness, or viscosity. This is one elegant and refined beverage. Ausgezeichnet!

I wish I could remember some of the dopplebocks I drank while I was Germany. This one is good but not the best I’ve had. It’s still worthy of a try though.

I really enjoyed this beer. My first experience with a Dopplebock, and I was highly impressed.
