Botella de 330ml. Copa Stem de mahout. Saboreada en jun´12. Color marrón y tintes rubí a contraluz.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smells a little sweet with notes of roasted malt. The flavor of dark malt but not at all becoming strong. Which is a plus in my opinion. The aftertaste puts himself back in mouth and bubbling around very nicely for a while. Tasty and easy to drink Bock. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a bubbly clear dark brown, red when put to light. Smells sweet and like other bocks grassy and earthy to me. Smell caramel roasted malt flavor, with faintly smoky dryness finish to steal the description. Despite being bubbly, has smooth creamy mouth feel. Real easy drinking not very bad but the more I drink of a bock the more I feel like I’m eating grass. Can certainly understand why this one of the best in the style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice aroma of malt, banana, nutty, some slight dark fruit, and some yeasty (Belgian like) aroma. Very nice and complex aroma. Taste is complex as well but I get some smokey roasted malt flavors more so than I would have thought based on the aroma. Overall nice balance. Slightly sweet, but not sugary sweet. Nice flavors that follow the aroma other than the roasted malt. Dry finish. Very tasty, but couldn't drink it all the time. Need to be in the mood for it.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Maruhn (Darmstadt). Pours a very dark brown colours with a small thick tan head. Aroma is malty, caramel and light bread. Average carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is a shot of bitterness with some caramel notes and a very dry finish. Overall, a very good beer that is more light than I thought when I served it.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown clear color, beige foamy head with little lacing. Sweet lightly roasted aroma of dark bread, milk chocolate, some figs. Medium to full, really smooth body.
Nicely balanced sweet caramel taste with bread, some lemon, lightly roasted notes, chocolate and red fruits. Nice quite dry finish of citrus, milk chocolate and some wood plus smoked charcuteries in the background. Very enjoyable, quite complex with awesome balance.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is weak but the little that can be felt is nice. The "bock" is a bit like the stout but I think it’s more smoky and less creamy. Solid but not so exciting. Nicely priced for proper beer. Around 4,5$ for 50cl in Sweden.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Solid but a bit lame aroma with malty flavors of mild salty licorice and licorice, bread and some soy. Reddish brown color with clear liquid. Light brown, semi-thick head. Taste has malts, licorice, smooth caramel and some salty licorice. Wide taste spectrum. Semi-long aftertaste has malts and a hint of alcohol. Medium palate with average carbonation.

Bottle from zupan’s off burnside
Pour is thick and but not opaque, a great brown fall color to the beer.
First taste is surprisingly sweet, with balanced fig/cherry finish. I get lots of dark fruit and a tobacco dry chewiness throughout. Surprisingly alcoholic taste and smell for its BAC. Wonderful beer, lots of different flavors throughout, perfect to enjoy on a evening with a book or alone in thought.

Dark brown with a light brown, thick head. Aroma of malt and milk chocolate. Malt, dark dried fruit and molasses flavor with some soft roasted grain in a long moderately sweet finish. Noticeable alcohol even at the moderate 6.7 abv. Well constructed and balanced.
